I have a Lobdell mens seat, for my 1948 Firestone, that the splines are worn out, that the seat tilts up and down. What would help solve this problem? The rest of the seat is in good condition.
Hi, What is the best way to solve this problem on my Lobdell seat other then getting a different seat? The clamp tilts up and down even with super tightening.

I know in 1948 the Deluxe was the same as the Super Deluxe except for a truss rod fork setup instead of the springer. Does anyone have pics of a 1949-1952 boys 26" Deluxe? Or if no pics, did the Deluxe have a head shroud and what truss rods were used?
