Do not believe it to be the original HB stem either .... Don't know why anyone would change it but it's aluminum. Somehow think the org. would be steel but I could be wrong.

I'm really curious when Schwinn stopped using the rear facing adjustable dropouts. The fork crown tips are a bullet style that I do not seem to see many of .

Wheels are fun once you get the knack. Never cross over the valve channel ...... A spoke driver is an invaluable tool. Oil the nipples. be patient.....

Can any one help date this Schwinn New World ? I ran the serial numbers and it said 1952 and find that hard to believe...... More like 1852 ..... Not really but closer! I could be wrong! Has beautiful fork crown tips and adjustable drop outs .... Just beautiful .....
