I posted this in the schwinn forum and only got 1 reply. Before I dump more cash into this guy I want to make sure this is no reason for concern! Thanks in advance!
So a very clean 59 3 speed tiger showed up on my local marketplace. I’ve been looking as I had a jaguar when I was a kid. I’m 6’2” now so I wondered how cramped one would be these days! Catalog seemed to indicate there was only one size. Thanks!
I always liked these fast backs. This one is sharp. Never seen one in person. I imagine from the look of it that the cockpit is rather small for a tall rider?

Looks very nice!
I think this was used on some Zeps, Monark 5 bars, and Hawthorne Twin bars. I bought it on here a awhile ago and never found a home for it. Looked at it and put it back in the box. Original paint, appears to have been clear-coated at some point. Nice and clean with no rot. Never tested it...
Looks like a 36' Elgin Oriole. They used the grease fittings on BB and the head tube. Of course as CrazyDave said it has a Schwinn chain ring, and the guard is aftermarket. Nice find!
