I had the same problem when I made mine. It's very difficult to measure the internal threads and the diameter is odd. It's been years but I clearly remember chasing the threads in my lathe several time before i had a good fit and the used my first effort as a pattern to make a more refined...
Looks great David. I have the same seat on my model 38. Now I know what it should look like. I wish I had the Columbia stamp to make it as nice as yours.
Did you find what you were looking for? I noticed you didn't reply to the 2 that posted items for you consideration. Where are you located in case someone nearby has something for sale?
