    Hauled some stuff home

I have 4 Western Auto Davis 26x2.125 tires that would look nice for bike display but probably not rideable for free. I live in East Peoria, IL.

    Free Western Auto Davis tires

I have 4 Davis tires, 26 x 2.125. 2 look brand new, but all 4 have sidewall cracks. They would only be good for displaying a bicycle. The tread is 1" wide with 3 zig-zag grooves. I'll give them to someone free. U can come pick them up in IL, or pay for shipping. If satisfied "pay it forward"

Ed, This is a link to Velocipedist Co. pic of his rear shaft-drive hub(1899 model 59). Hopefully your 2 hubs look like that on the right side of the hub gear. Marty Potts https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/1899-columbia-chainless.111985/post-738859

Dear Ed, I finally got my 1899 Columbia assembled. I have not had any trouble with the rear wheel hub gear un-threading on any of the 4 chainless bikes I have. It's been several years since I assembled that part of this bike I can't remember anything special I did. I've attached a copy of the...

    1899 Columbia chainless

Dear Velocipedist, I have one question for you. In the pic of the bottom bracket you said "So I started my rebuild by tightening this square retaining nut pictured at the front end of the drive shaft." By tightening that nut does it force the pinion to be in direct contact with the beveled ring...

Dear Lester, Any chance you could photocopy the brochure you posted this pic of July 28, 2017 (maybe 2 separate photocopies of the pic itself so I'm able to read the labeling)? I'm stuck trying to re-assemble my 1899 model 59. Certainly I will pay for postage. Thanks in advance, Marty Potts...
