please do tell exact measurements of rim size sounds like 24 inch rim is 26 inch tires but is it 26 x 2 or whatever width becomes important many tire variations with early rims

I just had this same problem,made some alloy jaws for the vice ,clamped her tight in the alloy jaws applied heat and tapped a tooth with a brass punch and it came free soaked it in transmission fluid and acetone 50%-50% for about an hour before ...don't be afraid to use heat

I didn't mean to say its a bitsa ,stuff like the chainwheel may have been changed to keep it in service ,like you said just about every suburb of every town /city in Australia had a cycle builder so putting a maker on it could be tuff ,it has survived real well compared to most antique cycles...

I've picked up a later Evans cycle motor ,I still can't work out to post photos ,what I need help with is how do you remove pully at bottom of motor , I've removed cap on pully and undone the nut on bearing side, undone the nut and washer from other side , is the bearing pushed on , can't seem...
