I am a very big fan of bicycles of all kinds, but my first love is BMX. I want to build an early BMX with an old stingray-style bike. I've always like Schwinns the most, but first and foremost this bike needs to be a rider. I have a few 70s related questions.

I know that in in the 70s and 80s people would cut ape hangers and use them for seat posts. i am looking for one of those or any 1970s/1980s seat post that is 7/8" or slightly smaller. chrome or silver is needed.

I can't tell if that's a Skyway fork or not... If so you're looking at $500 for the frameset, and more if it's an XL. I don't see anything else worth any money on the skyway. If the fork is not skyway, $250-300 for the frame. Nice scores
