The first one wasn't for sale, I guess 🙃Thanks so much for that..
Anyone else who has one, there's an open offer of 200 standing on the item. Having it dangled in front of me left a bad taste and I still want one.
I got to thinking about a post earlier regarding bike locks. Someone inquired about having anyone seen a SlayMaker bike lock before, and I admit, I hadn't. It was all brass with the long loop and a bracket to mount when not in use.
I've always liked prewar REESE locks myself for the aesthetic...
Willing to SHIP at Buyers expense. I go through the local LBS and they've been very reasonable with me.

I found this very nicely machined little six shot chamber to what I suspect is maybe a hub for bearings? A fork insert?
this was discovered in a bin for axles at my local LBS. I had no idea what it was, but figured if nothing else, it would make a cool piece of jewelry or a little widget to...
Figured I should just start my own thread about it at this point. It's been a good project with plenty going on and I'm flooding every relevant page talking about it 😄
We began here,. This is the bike as I bought it in Buchanan, MI.,
Bent fork, wrong grips, locked [broke from the inside]...
Looking to trade these smalls for a Dropstand Tab in reasonable shape for my '40 Murray Hiawatha.
Ive had these in my tool box doing nothing for a good while and theyre in original shape, durable and ready to mount or clean to nicer shape.
Alternatively, I'd take $40 shipped.
Thanks!
Robin
Hey all, looking for some Roached but legible licenses.
Embossed. Partial paint. How high or low the number is no interest as long as they have The Look.
Show me whatcha got!
Elgin Curve Mast is what the dropstand is for. Thanks!

This All American [below] I think is set up with the same screw spacing and on the same side as a post 1950 Western Flyer Super but I'm unsure which unit it is.
Could someone advise? Thank you!
[Trying to buy it]

1950 Cleveland Welding Co. Hawthorne All-American
This bike features many all original parts, down to the scripted Hawthorne pedals and the Magnificent light still in working order.

A bit dirty but very sound and VERY clean as it's coming. I took a little mineral spirit just to see what shape the chrome was in and it's all cleaning up next to very nice condition.
Looking at $35 plus ship for whole crankset/chain ring together.
Thanks!

There's a small bend in the left bottom brace. I don't have a vice at the moment or I'd have happily straightened it out myself.
All hardware included.
Solid. Whole and ready for a cleanup.
Willing to trade for accessories
$65 + Ship
I have a 1947 Hiawatha Chippewa and a 1950+ Hawthorne All American that both need proper lights. Any condition as long as they're whole.
One looks like the Ribbed CWC Super fork mount, the other looks like the Fork mount below in two tone lens and needle face.
So I have two of three?
A 1950+ All American
A 1947 Chippewa
Still need the headlights for both those as well as the whole of the most coveted model of bike, the [Elusive to me] Western Flyer Super.
I have a bunch of ads and scans for the Super and the Chippewa now, but if anyone has anything...
As I understood, Elgin badges were used until 1947. I even had one I bought that was sold as Post War [see photo A] as example:
Info? This has been had and sold for some years now, this is the only photo I have to go off
I brought a few home this last weekend with a friend and came across a CWC Roadmaster Royal Master ladies bike. The overall build of the bike has that late '46 early '47 sort of feel to it. The badge I'm unfamiliar with, however. I've not seen another and would like further education...
I'm picking up a bike today the lady claims is an early 40s [1942 quoted], it's a slightly lighter tone than forest Green with White detailing and a Twisted Hearts Chainring.
I'd like to, knowing this bike I'm picking up is an original paint Cleveland, get the year narrowed down from the...

Well, the Simplex Shifter and Green seat ended up on something else,. And as some of you have seen, the Evan's Action fork has ended up for sale (pending),. So I decided to start and now nearly finish my first Muscle Bike instead of the Elgin Curve Mast project.
I love those frames but they're...
Its specific to the model on that theres a tiny oval cutout in the middle of the fender where the Screamer Springer dips into the fender slightly while in action.
Selling an Evan's Action Springer Fork
Came off a Ladies model and already had the work done to accommodate a 5" headtube for a mens bicycle.
The cut was made approx. 2" up the steer tube and a shim was added inside the steer tube for extra support when the new steer tube length was added on...

Great items for a more than fair price.
Solid shipping and timeframes.
If hes got something you like, dont hesitate. Hes a Class A Good Joe!
Seeking Butterfly Bars. Nothing shiny. I dont want a showpiece. I'd ideally like them in similar condition to this project.
Solid, but rusty around the edges and straight.
Thanks!
