    I was born and grew up in San Diego, CA., I don't remember Gilmore's. Maybe, they went out of business before I was born. The main Schwinn dealer I know of in San Diego is Zumwalt's. Zumwalt's was still in business the last time I drove by them in 2018.

    1936 Schwinn Double curve bar I just put together this 1936 Double curve bar, that I bought from a CABE member. I only got the frame, forks, fenders, and crank set. Everything else I added. It's my first original paint prewar Schwinn, and it rides great!

    I'm working on a 1936 or 1938? Schwinn Motorbike. I started with a frame and locking fork ( with the key broken off inside). Now it's a stripped frame and locking fork!
