Raleigh made a few all chrome road bikes in the 70's so hoping to find one or at least the frame.

I bought the last pair of new all white 27 1/4 all white road bike tires on Ebay and they lost them in the mail ! So anyone have a set, used, new or ? Opps, sorry just saw the new rule about two a day,,,I cannot find a way to delete this thread though.

Restoring a Schwinn Voyageur and would like to use a new chain. I am a bit confused as to what length to buy. The bike is a 12 speed so I thought I needed a 12 speed chain but bike shop says I need a 6 speed chain. Is this because it has a derailleur ?

Love fixing up old bikes but the hardest part for me is getting the laced spokes clean and shiny. Respoking is very pricey so cleaning is the best way for me. Tried steel wool of course but very time consuming so maybe a chemical or something ?
