I stopped by a friends place and found him out in his barn. I’ve known him quite a while but had never been in his barn. Started wandering around in there and found this. I told him to get it out and clean it up! He said Nah. He likes it like that. I couldn’t believe it. He just had his ‘69 Z-28...
I have a pair of unfinished walnut grips. These were made by a member of the Rat Rod Forum. I think he was from SD. I had him make 2 pairs and I finished one pair with antique gunstock stain then Tru-oil. The finished grip is not for sale. The unfinished grips are the same wood from the same...
I bought a mint Schwinn American from the original owner. When he purchased it he also bought this kickback laced to a brand new S-7 from the Schwinn dealer. He never used it. When I serviced it I could tell it was like new. This is about as close to NOS that you can get. 18T, serviced with...
Two very nice Admiral badges. One has been slightly polished and has nice cameo. The other is untouched with original brass dark patina. Shipped in small flat rate box.
Monark rocket that was ripped from rivets. Might be usable, not sure. It looks like Siegel Airman badge is 1 1/2” measured across the face. Shipped in small flat rate box.
These badges have 2 3/16 hole spacing. The Royal is one of my first attempts at badge painting. Badge has some cracks around screw holes. The Ace is in perfect shape and has been polished. Shipped in small flat rate box.
NOS badge. Never been on a bike. When I got it, a tiny amount of “black” was missing from the letters and you could see clear through where it was missing. I took a sharpie and filled in missing black and fixed it. You can see on back where I touched it up. Front looks perfect now. Shipped in...
Rulze… Classic ballooners, no tandems, only regular bike parts, no funny stuff. No boat anchors or lead weights! I weighed myself on bathroom scale, then picked up bike and weighed, then subtracted. My prewar Schwinn weighs 59 lbs. Who made the heaviest bikes??
Ted Kaczynski, aka “Unabomber” was a domestic terrorist. He was a math prodigy with a 167 IQ and entered Harvard at age 16. He became a full professor then flipped his lid and shunned society. He moved to a remote cabin in Montana with no electricity or water. He lived there 20 yrs and sent mail...
I just finished this one from parts I had on hand. Thanks to AS Nutbolt for providing a few missing crank parts. Still debating on whether to find chainguard or not. 1940 Schwinn frame with “E” serial no, fork from prewar girls bike. I test rode it and if you take your hands off bars it will put...
Tank and chain guard decals. These tank decals are slightly smaller than the usual boys tank decals. They are possibly for a girls tank or a 24” bike tank?? Shipping included with bid.
Corvette frame and fork decals. May have been used on other models too. One of the top bar decals has a slight amount of yellowing on the left side. Shipping included with bid.
I have four skip tooth chains. I’m fairly certain they all came off girls bikes. At least two came from prewar bikes. All have master links. None of them are frozen. One is marked with diamonds and is the best one in my opinion. I think all are usable.
$12 shipping to lower 48.

This is a Schwinn late 30s style boys locking springfork. It has damage at red arrows. Right leg has slight inward bend. Left upper leg has dent in rear. All parts repainted. Cross bolt marked “Rockford” so not original. No key but inner mechanism seems to all be there. No AS marking on upper...
I have a few items. The inner tube box is empty. The spray paint is too old to use, I’m sure. I would sell this group for $25 plus shipping in med flat rate box. First PM gets them.
My friend in the pic bought this bike for $25. I tried to buy it from him with no luck. One day he called me needing a set of Phantom decals. He was finishing a bike to take to a show and blew the decal job. I had him over a barrel and told him “black straight bar for decals!!” It was mine. I...
I built this around a 20” ‘67 Fleet shorty frame with tank. ‘65 Schwinn springer, chrome stripped and painted. Mint ball light that looks like it’s never had batteries. Rebuilt blue band 2-speed with S-2 and NOS Schwinn knobby. This is a factory wheel, spokes, and hub. Also NOS replacement rear...
A guy in Canada with a metal detector found this badge yesterday. Thought I'd post it here. Don't know anything else about it.
I should have posted this in the antique section. My mistake. Gary
Were the Hungarian Schwinn's a one year only production? I have a Hungarian girls cruiser in mint condition I want to sell and want more info on the Hungarian bikes. Thanks. Gary
One of my hobbies is metal detecting. I'm on a forum with others that do the same. Yesterday, a guy dug up a bicycle badge but didn't know what it was. It's for a Spalding bike, and all they knew about was tennis racquets and couldn't figure it out. I set them straight. It has an 1888...
If it wasn't for the paint loss below the seat from a bike chain, this bike would be mint. All original including tires. Yellow band kickback. Works but for sure needs serviced/regreased.
$150 for pick up in Cent. IL. PM me for more details. Gary
Black Phantom #H28134, Jan. 1953. I bought this Phantom in '93 in Pana, IL, and it was a wreck. Restored 1993-1995. Saved all original parts I could. (frame, guard, springer, bearings, hardware, and neck) Replaced some missing parts from Memory Lane. (fenders, tank, light) Rack is from...
