Hi,
its a raleigh rodeo basically that was badged as something different as so many exported bikes were.
shame that its missing the seat- thats probably the hardest and most expensive part to find.
The rear hub will tell you an approximate date of the bike- id say its probably 1967.
do you...
Hi,
youve probably finished the bike by now!
Its a raleigh rodeo but they were badged up as all sorts of things for export models.
I'm in england where they were made, so if you struggle getting parts etc let me now and i can see if i can help.
Marcus
Hi Robert,
I'm interested in the twin bar battery clip and horn but I'm overseas so cant really send a money order.
Its the part i need to finish my twin bar project!
Any other method of payment that would work for you?
Thanks
Nice. I’m in the U.K. if you need help with any parts. Unfortunately raleigh stopped making the front tyres about 18 months ago so they are getting quite sought after. Is the one on there not salvageable?
Needed- non drive side columbia crank for 1898 model 46 (chain model)
I need everything from the centre out, so bearings, Cup/ race, crank arm and pedal.
Many thanks
Hi chris
I’m also in the U.K. and I have a Columbia model 46 I’m restoring.
I’m looking for a left hand crank arm if you have any spare parts?
it’s a chain drive
Thanks for the pointer-
ive got a repro tank similar but they sit over the bars than between them, and i'm worried about damaging the paint.
I figured something 82 years old deserves to go back to the way it should be.
WANTED
38 Westfield 'floating' tank for my 1938 Special streamline motorbike. (photo of my bike and catalog image of what it looked like out of the factory)
Bike is original paint green (i'm told this is rare). It has marks from a tank previously fitted, the hole in the fender and the cable...
I really don’t think that is fair to tar all overseas buyers with the same brush- I’m I the UK and I have both imported and exported a lot of bikes. I personally know from experience that sending overseas is a lot of money.
I can ship a pair of wheels from the USA to the UK for around 60 bucks-...
out of interest, are you in america? if so they will be different to the bike pictured- i believe that pictured is exclusively european spec. easy way to tell, see if its made in china or vietnam. the usa spec ones were chinese iirc, the european ones made in vietnam
Sorry guys, I was at a car swap meet today in the uk and I came across a few bikes from the usa.
I'm a schwinn collector mostly but I have other balloon bikes (a twin bar project and a 48 roadmaster)
I'm about 90% sure this a Westfield frame, and the forks look Elgin to me and it has a morrow...
I have an og 48 LL and I'm trying to work out how the brake light switch is fitted and how it works- I have repop lamp and switch- are the originals different?
