I have a sweaty persons seat and square back sissy bar and a set of 1963 stingray pedals, the seat cover is torn but the pan is solid, it could use a recover, the square back to me needs to be rechromed, but it may look decent after a bath in Evaporust, as for the pedals they are in decent...

I get it at Lowe's, it $8 a can, I used a can and half of another one on this bike, but be prepared with lots of tags or paper towels to wipe it off. I let it sit about 10 minutes and it wiped right off and left beautiful violet paint underneath, dont let this stuff set to long, I accidentally...

Well for a few bucks I think I will go back and get it tomorrow, the cabinet had several delta marker lights and hub lights in it, a delta hawk that was spray painted, a Schwinn reflector topper, bike license ring and some lights, I grabbed what caught my eye, but that light stuck out, I have...
Yes the tag says bike light but to me it looks like a rear fender mounted stop light for a car, I did pic it up and look it over for a manufacturer but didnt see anything on it but the 2 letters on the lense
A
I'm pretty sure this is a car light, but not 100% sure, the only markings on this are DA on the lens, just wanted to check before I pass on it, this was the only pic I could get
Aaron
What do you mean by scrubbed? Like the factory second tires, that had the letters buffed off the tire and resold? I'd like to see some pics and a price if you dont mind

I had a stroke of luck Friday afternoon with Facebook marketplace and wound up bringing home a 66 Violet Super Deluxe Stingray, I did have to take a Hollywood and a Speedster home with it, I have started cleaning on the Stingray and still can not believe that I was able to get a SD Stingray...
Im a little late for show and tell, but I scored this awesome whitewall yellow oval slik for my 65 Stingray project, I would call it NOS but I don't think it qualifies, but it is a factory second, the only problem I noticed to make it a second was a small blemish in the tread, I intend to clean...
Still looking for a banana seat, sissy bar and some apehanger handlebars for this bike, would like the apehangers to be 13 1/2 inches tall and 31 inches wide I think those are the measurements for the correct schwinn stingray bars pre 1973 per another members measurements, thanks for any help...

Here is the bracket, as mentioned you already have it it just needs to be CAREFULLY bent back into this shape, I made the same mistake and bought a truss mount batwing and cant mount it to my fender, hopefully you can use this to reshape your bracket, those truss mount brackets can be drilled...
My uncle wants to relive his childhood so I told him I could help, he knows I collect old bikes and so since he has seen my Eliminator, he wants a Krate, he could never get one as a child but now he wants one, he doesn't care what kind as long as it is a complete riding bike that's shifts and...

Thank you guys for the info and the kind words, once I get it out of my Tahoe and in the house so the old lady doesn't see it, I'll get some before and after pics of it when I detail it, it has very minimal surface rust behind the guard and around the spoke nipples and the forks, but I am in...
I thought I may add to your post, the local Schwinn Dealer in Louisville, KY would also engrave bikes with names, initials, birthdates or socials where ever you would like for a dollar, if I can find the ad on my computer I will show you, I had a suburban I bought locally that had the owners...
Looks like a 10 speed to me! I had an Identical one, it was almost mint with an orange line knobby on the rear, fetched almost $1200 a few years back
Aaron
Thank you Shawn, I do not have any literature on these bikes YET, and I couldn't find much on a Google search and didnt know where to start to look for the date at all, where did you find the serial number reference if I can ask?
Aaron
I picked this up today from the original owner it literally hasn't been in my possession an hour yet, but I would like to have the experts have a look and see what's original and what's not and give me a year on it, I have the serial number posted below, I know it's not a stick shift bike or...
Well for the first half of the day I didnt have anything to show, but after a trip to the flea market I found this little Murray F1 Eliminator for a steal so I went ahead and adopted it from the original owner, and assured him it was in good hands, he told me he always wiped out down once a week...
