Here are 2 vintage British saddles in very nice condition for their age. Both have non-chrome springs and undercarriages, tight rivets with no indications of stretched leather, no tears or
discoloration of the leather, but both are weather checked and could use some conditioning which I decided...

Oh
Here is a very nice single compartment large saddle bag with 3 points of attachment. All 3 leather straps are in good condition with no tears or separation. All 3 buckles are fully serviceable with minor corrosion that will clean off. Judging by the lack of any indentations from the buckles on...
Don was a dear friend, off and on our vintage bikes. I friended him on the CABE when he and Carol were moving from SoCal to Charlotte. One of the first things he did was start The Hurricane Coasters. Man has his priorities straight!!
Don was an amazing ambassador for vintage bikes. Always...
Would be a good rider for a proper patina/survivor bike. Obvious tears, scuffs and damage to top, but is actually a comfortable riding saddle. Chassis and bracketry in good serviceable shape. Will fit in medium USPS Priority flat rate box for $17.10. PayPal preferred. Happy to answer any...
I’ve built my collection around non-Raleigh branded British 3 speed roadsters. So far, I have a Dunelt, Rudge, Philips, Hercules, Moulton F frame, Armstrong, BSA, Triumph, Gazelle, and my latest bike, a 1969 Robin Hood. These pics are as found, w/white tires.
A friend was gifted this from a local bike shop that didn’t want anything to do with old Brit roadsters. I showed him how to do some basic maintenance and he’s riding it all the time with a big grin on his face. His new aluminum Trek hybrid 18 speed with disc brakes is sitting in his garage...
As New Mexico Brant said, its a nice bike and will clean up and make a nice rider, but not really collectable although the name is unfamiliar to me. Aberdale could be a store that consigned bikes with their name, but that's pure speculation. The shifter control mechanism on the driveside rear...
Beautiful bike!! I’ve heard 1981 was the last year of production, but would not be surprised if overstock was still being sold after that. 1981 was about when the mountain bike explosion took place, which only highlighted the antiquated quirkiness of the DL1. Poor quality knockoffs were and...
I have a 54 men’s Hercules Churchill De Luxe and a 53 ladies Hercules Churchill De Luxe with a similar filigreed chain case decal, except they say Churchill De Luxe. Hercules was founded in 1910 and was a huge manufacturer in its day. Here is a link to some background and history...
When I started collecting vintage British bikes at the start of the pandemic, my first bike(s) were this 74 Sports Jack and Jill set just like yours. (Pics as found) Great riders, and the paint and chrome were high quality, which meant a pretty easy clean and lube. New tires and tubes got me on...
Found a 1969 British Robin Hood sporting a Minky's of Chicago vinyl dealer sticker. here is a link with a lot of history of Minky's.

Considered carefully removing it with a hair dryer and...
What a beautiful, rare bike, esp on this side of the pond! A Humber Sports with duplex fork and dyno hub lighting is one of my holy grail bikes to find. The condition is fabulous-a real time capsule! I'm narrowing my Brit bike collection down to non-Raleighs (well, mostly) and am keeping and...
Beautiful bike! Love those pulley bosses built in the bottom bracket for derailleur/changer cables. Very clean and elegant build. That relaxed geometry should give a very comfortable ride.
This is a great bike at a GREAT price! Looks better in person and it looks KILLER here. Don's bikes are super clean and well serviced. You will not be dissapointed!
When I got this bike, the chain guard was missing the decal. Luckily, 2 days after I bought this, someone listed on eBay a black chain guard with the correct decal in great condition! I was the only bidder and got it for $9.99 + $6 shipping. Looks great on the Robin Hood!

Really glad they didn't update their shop stickers. This one is SO much cooler! I do plan on CAREFULLY removing it (heat from a hair dryer and slowly peeling back, hopefully intact) and repositioning it on the bottom of the seat tube, not covering the ROBIN HOOD decal.
If you'r looking to flip it, the new owner would rather do his own cleaning and servicing. You're literally wasting your time to clean it because it won't add value and could hurt the value. Bike guys are a strange bunch and get off cleaning and repacking bearings, cleaning chtome with their own...
I checked on line and the use of 2 alphas followed by 5 numericals in a phone number ended in the 50's. Not sure why this is on a 1969 bike, but truth is stranger than fiction. Gotta LOVE that 34 Aerocycle and the "Since 1932" notation. This must have been such an important outlet for Schwinn...
Just picked up this really nice 21” 69 Robin Hood. The new white tires that came on it are sweet, but it was the shop sticker from the iconic Chicago bike shop Minky’s that closed the deal.
It was supposed to be a theft deterrent. The sticker said the bike is registered with Pinkerton's National Detective Agency, at the time a well known security firm.
If you don't ask, you don't get. Very important rule in old bike collectiog!! Again, stunning bike and a real piece of history before the COMPAX model went to war.
Excellent bike, Fred!! A pre-war made right before the war, still in it's civilian trim. HTF to say the least...Paint is outstanding and will clean up to reveal a real beauty. Enjoy!!
If this is your first vintage bike, it will give you lots of opportunity to learn the basic overhauling skills like tearing down, cleaning and repacking all bearing surfaces (both wheels, headset and bottom bracket), clean and re-lube the chain, how to overhaul a coaster brake [not as hard as...

An on-off involvement with motorcycles
The Raleigh company was a pioneer in the British motorcycle industry. Long famed as a builder of pedal cycles, it built its first powered two-wheeler...
Size 23” frame. 1020 Hi-Ten Uni-Lite steel. Nice lug work. Steel rims. Tires good and hold air. Made in the good old USA in Allentown PA. Looks to be all original, just needing a full service and good cleaning. Local pickup only-Charlotte NC
Pretty grungy but looks to be all original. Bicycle Corporation of America handmade in Allentown, PA, home of, but not affiliated with (to my knowledge) Ross Bicycles also headquartered in Allentown. Only in operation for a few years before the tidal wave of PacRim bikes take over the MTB...
Sadly, I'm not seeing a Hercules, either. The cutout chevrons on the fork crown cover are definately not Hercules, but I've seen them somewhere before. If that feature could be pinpointed, that might help identify what it was originally. Also, the reflectors in the pedals, if original would date...
Nice condition grips. Schwinns are 4.25” long and Western Flyer are 4.75”. No tears, splits or road rash
What you see is what you get.
