I’m not sure when I’ll get to fix the wheels on my wartime lightweight. Would like to see if I’ve any options for reasonably replacing them for now. They have blackout new departure hubs. The wheels are 26” and are cream with a black pinstripe. Thanks
Not mine but a decent size lot of parts. Coolers definitely need attention. Wouldn't mind having one myself but I doubt I'd ever get to do that restoration, never mind 5 of them :dizzy...
What do you think on price? Obviously sitting outside since flat spot on tires and a bit of rust on each rim in same location. Has war grade tires, blackout new departure front rear hubs, blackout bars and chainring etc. rust on frame and bars, not too bad.
What’s the going rate for some wartime Torrington 8s?.. or prewar since should be the same... as far as I know at least. Would likely paint OD so a clean finish wouldn’t be completely necessary but decent blocks would be a plus. Thanks!
Looking to trade this right side ideal pedal. Decent condition for the age, a little cracking on one block. Spins freely.
Been trying to collect bits for a g519; would be interested in putting this towards one of the hubs for the bike, either front or rear since I’ve neither at the moment...
Came across this pedal, didn’t have a lot of time to look at it so snapped a quick picture. Idea what model it is?.. sure someone will know without even thinking. Thanks.
What about this one?

Can anyone tell what bike this is? I wasn't sure with the squared peak fenders ( not sure the actual word for it) . It seems to have a Columbia chain ring and I think it has a blackout new dew departure rear hub. Thanks
Can anyone tell me what these truss rods were actually intended for? I bought them for my bike at least as a place holder thinking they'd fit but they seem to be 1/4"-1/2" too big. The original end to end measurement I saw appeared to be 21 1/'8" but it must have been off slightly. My bike...
My front axle is bent on my 40s Columbia and need to replace it. It is a bendix but I'm guessing the same as the new departure? Can anyone tell me the model number for the axle? Thanks
Are all of the bevin bells marked so? I contacted someone about one and it is the correct style by they said they didn't see any identifying marks. Does anyone know if other companies made the same style?...or is there just rust on this that they aren't seeing through? Thanks
I was curious if anyone has added scabbards to their bikes for rifles. I saw that there was one other member that added a garand scabbard after seeing the picture on Johan's site regarding the 34th IR. I have a vintage Crosman M1 Carbine bb gun with wooden stock that was my late uncles and...
Hello, don't have the bike in hand yet but I know it does not have truss rods. I am trying to get a military tribute bike together and plan to start with a 46 Columbia. i am looking for the rods and bracket(s). Thanks
Hello,
I have been wanting to do a WWII tribute bike but have not seen any good candidates. I was in contact with someone that had a '46 Columbia for cheap money (was already spray painted) but after trying once or twice to meet up with them, we have lost contact. Does anyone know of any...
