It is with great agony and reservation that I have decided to sell my beloved 1919 Iver Johnson Boys Midget. I don't think I have to tell many people how rare a pre-1920 boys juvenile bicycle is. I really love this bicycle, but I don't have the expertise to restore it or re-assemble it. I would...
I don't know much about this rim. I bought it as a part of what was supposed to be matching 28H rims, but obviously, that's not what I received. The hub has no markings as far as I can see. Anyway, I don't really know the value, so I'll try $135 shipped and then go from there. Please see the...
$80 shipped.
Please see in the pictures that the wrapper is tattered and wrinkled (you would be to if you were over 70 years old! :), but is still legible and strong enough to hold the pedals. Also note that someone wrote "Juvenile" on them at some point.
All of my searches have simply come up empty. Multiple automatic searches on ebay never result in anything (except 26" and 28").
All I need is a set of 20" wheels for this little 1919 IJ Boys Scout Midget and it will be ready to put back together. In the last year, I really got lucky on a seat...
I saw this 1890's Lovell Diamond on ebay this morning and coudn't help but thinking this thing needs to be on display somewhere. I know @ivrjhnsn has a museum for IJ's up in Fitchburgh, MA where the IJ factory is.
I'd love to do a crowd fund and see this bike go in the museum. I'm willing to...
EDIT: Just wanted to be clear that I am looking for any 20" Wood wheels. The IJ wheels would just be a bonus. The picture I included is a 24" wheel - I included it to show what the actual IJ wheel would have looked like.
I need some wood wheels for my 1919 Iver Johnson Boy Scout Midget. I have...
My search continues to find the parts I need to restore this beloved 1919 Iver Johnson Boy Scout Midget. It's the only bicycle I will ever restore, and I know I am restoring it for future generations, not monetary value, so I am willing to spend some money on it. I was lucky enough to find the...
I'm desperately searching for this saddle for my 1919 IJ Juvenile bicycle. I think they put this same saddle on many tricycles so there HAS to be some out there.
So, I'm willing to pay $500 cash for a NOS (or really nice used condition) Troxel C.C. No 36 Juvenile saddle. Here is a picture from...
I am tying to restore a 1919 IJ Boys Midget bike, but I'm down to the nitty gritty on parts and I have basically hit a road block. I have the old chain, but it is pretty rough because it was completely rusted with several locked links (ok, more were locked than free!). I took several days and...
This is a very small bicycle (15" frame with 20" tires). The seat is TINY. I'm trying to find a suitable tool pouch and tools for it. The bicycle is a IJ Boys' Midget, Model # 2215.
Thanks for looking.
The original description was "Fisk Juvenile, Non-Skid, White, Khaki top".
But, if you have any 20" tires for a wood rim 1919 bike, please let me know what you got.
I know this is a longshot, but I am trying to restore a 1919 Iver Johnson Boys' Midget to as close to original as possible. I've tried hard to find the correct parts for 6 months, but I haven't had much luck. I've been able to find some suitable rims (though not an exact match to original) as...
I am trying to find either a set or individually, front and rear hubs for a 1919 15" Iver Johnson kids bike. In the new departure, this would need to be a Model A. I'm not 100% positive what the models would be in the Corbin and Morrrow. Any help would be appreciated.
