When measuring a high wheel the front wheel diameter is the factor to determine the size of the machine. Is the hard rubber tire included or not?.
Thank you in advance

Very nice cast iron bike stand. Not sure on the actual vintage but it will go extremely well with your TOC bike display. It is not the Aluminum type you have seen other places
Would like to purchase a Pedicab frame that looks like this. Does not need to have anything on the back. I am really only looking for the frame. Thank you in advance.
I am rebuilding a 1897 Sterling for my wife, but the chain that came with the bike has one damaged link. It looks like someone tried to add an incorrect link. Ideas please on what can be done. I hate to buy a whole new chain but will if I have to..
Thank you

has anyone disassembled a an early Sterling crank assembly? I am putting one back together and am stumped by these parts. They are supposedly from the crank assembly but don’t seem to fit. They are washers with a key but no where on the shaft is there a key way. Thanks in advance
I am working on a 1896-97 Sterling and of course the thread sizes for the axle adjusters are not modern threads. Are old taps available? I just want to clean out the hole. The threads are fine on the adjuster it self but when checking with the Screw Checker they are loose in the 7/32 with 32...
I am building a trike sort of and I am ready to purchase wheels. Does anyone have knowledge of the strength of Fat Tire wheel sets vs a standard 2-1/4 wheels.
Worksman cycles has a standard width HD wheel that can accommodate 200 lbs on its own. Thank you in advance.
I am building this (see below). Would a 1000w front hub motor work? I will only be traveling on flat pavement and do not need to go fast. Thanks in advance

1 pair of nice (ladies, youth, possibly racing, or small mans foot) rat trap pedals $220.00 which includes shipping to lower 48. They are smaller in size but could have easily been for a racing machine. There is not a provision for rubber inserts so I am hesitant to say they are ladies. I...
Restored by Dick Rath. Fleetwing
It has been a trying year you deserve something nice.
It is beautiful and very much a nice ride. Dick takes great pride in his museum quality restorations. It has barely ridden on Robert Dean single tubes that I added to make it rideable. This is a bicycle that...
Has anyone seen any TOC advertising for single tube tires? I am considering having a sign painted to go inside a single tube I have hanging around. Thanks
*****Looking for front fender and supports.
*****Looking for a spoon brake assembly or parts for a Sterling. This is the style of assembly that clamps to the handle bars and does not require a special stem or handle bar. See pictures in the TOC ladies Sterling thread in the pre-1933 forum...

This was a three year project and a labor of love. I owe so much thanks to numerous folks on the cabe. They provided missing parts, valuable information, and guidance. I appreciate you all.
I had new rear hubs...
Does anyone have clear photos of the pinstriped flourishes and designs that were frequently found decorating TOC women's safeties. Thinking about having a design or two reproduced . Thank you in advance
I am restoring a 1897 Sterling and it needs a replacement front fender. Since I have had a hard time finding one I am wondering if I could modify a light weight Schwinn. Can anyone tell me how wide one is like from a Breeze perhaps? Bonus points if you have a orphan fender that meets the...
I have a 1897-1898 ladies Sterling. The Sterling catalog of those years notes that Olive Green was the only paint choice. To my eye it looks black but my wife sees a hint of green. If it is green it is so dark it looks like black. Does anyone have a TOC paint chart showing Dark Olive green...
I have a ladies Sterling build in Chicago which should put it prior to 1898. It has Toc hubs and wooden rims. It also has a steel chain gaurd and a steel rear fender both of which have holes for dress gaurd lacing. I would have expected wooden fenders and wooden chain gaurd. Have others seen...
Does anyone have one or pictures of a Sterling ? It has a hint that at one time it had a spoon brake, but other than a screw and a tab there nothing left. It may be a fender mounting. Just curious if they even had spoon brakes on ladies Sterlings
Thank you

Virtually brand new Custom Brooks 135. I ordered this from Brooks and had them Chrome all of the suspension. If you look at their website and compare to the attached images you will see the modifications they made. Condition is excellent as I sat on it once for few miles. Comes with the two...
I have an average experience with Model A hubs, but this one has stumped me. I rebuilt it with new clutch, new spring, grease and the new band. Put it all back together took it for a spin, but now there is a lag in pedals. In other words I start peddling but it does not engage immediately...
Perhaps this isn’t the category but I thought if I posted in the some of the other Cabe categories folks might not know what I was talking about.
I am adding a wooden laced skirt guard to my wife’s safety and need to make the brackets that hold it both front and rear. Not to difficult...
Help. I bought one of the spinners from Joe Buffardi over a year ago. He send me one with a nose cone by accident. I contacted him and he said no problem I will send you parts and instructions on to convert it to the other style. I offered to pay for the parts and postage. He said no that...
