Haven’t removed the badge to inspect, but that’s a good observation. I checked into the head tube and bottom bracket shell and even the seat tube and everything tells me original paint. So different frame yet an early one?
I picked it up pretty much as you see it. I do have plenty of skiptooth chain, just not period. Probably gonna make it a roller for now so my wife and i can ride it. Thanks for the input.
