It’s true. Just another PK Ripper. But well equipped with a pro neck 2 stem and CW bars. This example is before SE switched to 1-1/8” thread less headset. Thanks for peeping it out
TS2 were after hutch moved to over seas. They were producing them in Taiwan and they were lower quality then the original trick star that was made there after 1985. The really valuable ones are US made trick stars (1984 & early 85) and race bikes like Hollywood. However there are still fanatics...
How about a pic of the final for this thread. A few changes have been made after this pic was taken but this is just about what it looks like today. I hope you like it with the haro stem and GT pro bars
Wow. That 86 performer is full on. The seat and that stem are big ticket items as well as the frame and fork. Plus 1 on the $2k appraisal above. But don’t sell it or break it up. Keep it all together it’s perfect. Agree that bike probably didn’t come with those wheel. It either came with white...
I read up on these bikes on the museum again today. To say they are rare is an understatement. Most of the Jamis Bmx bike there are lasted “fast times” like this one. You may have the only straight up laser in existence. Here is one of those fast times for your reference...
You are correct that it is a jamis. But you are incorrect that it is low end. Jamis is a very high end very durable although somewhat under-rated bicycle. Ask me how I know? By the way nice bike And a fine example with what appears to be all the correct parts. You’ve done good
I’ve been eyeing this bike at my moto mechanics shop for years now and yesterday he said “you Honda valves are adjusted. It will be $xxx with the PK Ripper”. I’m so exited. A 1994 all original PK is now in my collection with the rare 1”Headset - as SE switched to 1-1/8” in 1994. Here it is in...
The 1966 has been family owned since 1967. I even have my uncles receipt. I drove it to a party years ago and someone told me that he had the same bike in orange. Then he gave me the 72 K4. You really do meet the nicest people on a Honda.
Serial number will be under the bottom bracket. I’m guessing 84 but yeah, if those decals are original it’s either 84-85

What do you guys think about this tire? It says s-7 in the title but also claims to fit s-6 rim? Can someone explain that to me or maybe I’ll just read the sticky as mentioned above.

Well I bought the bike at a yard sale and gave it to my wife’s sister and she has taken a liking to it and brought on vacation to Maine for two weeks. She even learned how to fix a flat tire via a FaceTime call with me. So now that I know the schwinn is a keeper I’m going to buy her new tires...
I know schwinn requires a specific tire. But I don’t know what rim this is. S-7? S-6? I believe it to be 1966 Hollywood 26”. Here is a pic and the serial no. Thanks in advance for your help and if anyone has suggestions as to what tires should be run, I’m all ears.

Oh wow. That’s so blazing! Even the
Original reflector! You should put the new GT lp-5’s on it. They remake them in black or white with the 1.75 width. It’s so correct for the 87!!

June 85 Redline. A survivor here in Redlines’s hazard yellow with original decals. Trimoly frame. Redlines first trimoly frame was the 500b. Seems to be mostly original except for tires grips and seat as far as my eye can tell. Nice anlun race stem and anlun chain ring. Normal scrape and...
