Wow! Thanks for the education. I learn so much from you guys. I have at this point four bikes that seem to be middleweight class. 2 corvettes, 2 Jaguars what am I missing to round out the collection? All red!
Looking for some help on determining reproduction parts and original parts on a restored phantom. Looking at a very nice phantom and the current owner does not know enough history of the bike to know what is original or repo. What is the best method to help determine the extent of repo?

I am looking for any advertisement or other article that shows the Jaguar Mark IV. I see plenty of Mark 11 but nothing for the Mark IV. I would be grateful if someone could point me to something I could have printed to hand on a wall behind my new bike. I have access to a professional print...
Looking for some help finding a drive cable for a 1961 VDO speedometer for my Jaguar. The head unit is intact but missing the drive cable to the front hub! Any help on size, or any other details would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Grant
Just got my own nearly exact version (1961) of this bike. Looking for saddle bags and trying to get an idea of how you wrapped the cables. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Folks, looking for a drive cable for a 1961 VDO Speedometer for my Jaguar (26 inch). If you have both the drive cable and head unit I would be willing to purchase both and keep mine as a spare.
Thanks
Grant
I just came into a 1961 Mark IV Jaguar in original condition. One of the parts that seems to have gone missing is the drive cable for the blue face MPH speedometer. The head unit and the drive assembly are all intact just missing the cable. The original owner remembers the cable "freezing up"...
I am looking for some help in determining exactly how the handlebars are removed from a 1960's schwinn pixie. The front bolt is out that appears to hold the handlebars aligned to the fork tube. I have never taken one of these apart and do not want to force things. We are soaking in PB Blaster...
MIke, please follow up. I am prepared to prepay for all shipping. I can get a box sent to an address, box up the bike and I can have a scheduled pick up.
Mike, sorry I never got the messages and do not check this site often. I will check the craigslist and we can chat then. If you are open to a phone call we can get moving forward. My email is [email protected]
I would really like to find one with original paint and even not perfect. All six of the future sister and brothers are in original condition with some cleanup of rust and such put certainly not perfect.
Wow, thanks for the reply. If you do not mind, please keep a look out for one! I am trying to get the final bike for this collection and move on to my next group. Any chance you remember the vendor?
Looking for leads on a 1960's red pixie! I have six red vintage Schwinns from the 1950s-1960s and would like to finish off the collection with a pixie! Can anyone help me? I have been looking on many sites for months with no luck!
Thanks
Grant
Ok, trying to find one that is from the 60s. Are there any other ways to determine the exact year of the build? Where there any components or other distinguishing features in the 60s that did not appear in the 70s?
Can you all help me try and determine the age of this pixie? It looks to be in really good shape and I would like to add it to my collection if the bike is from the 60s.
I am trying to find the year of vintage pixies (60s). Find numbers but not showing on serial sites. Anyone know how I can find manufacture details on the pixies? For example, have a pixie with serial number 238305.
