Any noted qualities of the Lambert of England light weight bikes? It appears most of the components are also Lambert made. @dnc1 what say you?

Had a what appears to be a cut down Elgin head badge and by the looks of the wheel fit of the 26" I'm guessing it was originally a 28?

I made it back down to the stash to haul away some junk and pulled these two out of the overflow, overflow under the lean to area, men's Columbia and a ladies Rollfast, this is going to be a long process!

I promised @dnc1 I would venture out to a friends house and see if he had a crusty TOC era racer he was willing to part with, it had been several years since we had spoken and the sad news was he had passed away from cancer. Lonnie was an avid bike tinker repairman and had amassed a great...
I had to venture down to pick up some hay for the horses and you never know what is squirreled away on old farms and ranches. I asked the farmer if he had any old bikes and low and behold this is what he had tucked away in front of the swather.

New year and a new venture! I picked up a bike collection and now it's time to spread them around the bicycle community. I'm in the process of setting up a website and I'm heading to the late January Swap Meet in Indiana put on by Hoosier Antique and Classic club. The name of my new venture will...
I found these while looking around for some handlebar cross braces anyone bought a set to try and are they worth the $80 it would take to get them delivered?

Best of both worlds, skating and cycling combined! I'm going to get it going and let you know, i was wondering what to do with that single ACS 651 truck and that pair of OJ's skate wheels and now I know!

Anyone ever seen such an animal? This is the only picture I currently have, the story is it was designed, built and patented around 1976 in Berkeley California.

Just picked this up off the Letgo App for 1 buck. Stamped CrMo on the quill and made in Japan by Suntour. I thought the add was mislabeled but all he wanted was a buck, and he threw in a cool set of butterfly shaped 9/16 thread pedals off the same bike!

1/6th scale model of the Roadmaster, looks like it has never been removed from the box and box is in good shape. $45.00 shipped in the lower 48.

This reflector mount was on the rear of an AMF Roadmaster made in Little Rock Arkansas, the bike is a lightweight cantilevered frame 10 speed that had been converted to a banana seat sometime in its life. It looks like part of an aftermarket package sold through Sears Troxel seat and sissy bar...
Is this a problem? I'm thinking I need an intervention like @buck hughes turning a bowling ball into a feminine garden gnome for the frau! Go ahead and insert all the "Sanford and Son" cracks here but that's an F-150 not an F-1! Here's what I came home with. Enjoy y'all!
Sorry time to feed the...
Looks like a cantilever except the two tubes don't have as much arch? The top tube has the Schwinn stencil so I don't think it came with a tank.

I'm sure everyone has run up against repairs and or modifications that just make you scratch your head and wonder what the heck they were thinking! This is my latest find.

Looked at a ladies lightweight bike at a thrift shop and couldn't make out the brand and didn't have my phone to get pictures but it was a 3 speed free wheel lug construction frame and a Euro style BB and 3 piece crank and the bolt heads had A&I script like the AS bolts in a Schwinn?

Western Auto, Western Flyer, Stewart Warner Speedometer Head and handlebar mount only, 8 miles showing on the odometer Made in the USA I don't know what year $25.00 shipped
A couple of days prior to our whirlwind trip to visit @buck hughes and the lovely Mrs. Hughes (he married well above his pay grade) to pick up the Huffman Bluegrass I found this unwanted, unappreciated ladies CWC Hawthorne frame and fork for sale on the CABE, hat tip to @ZE52414. The Wards...
Parts bike I picked up has a rear hub marked "Schwinn Approved " and Mark IV on the brake arm, anyone know who manufactured it?

Spotted these in an antique shop and they were labeled as "ride on training wheels "? Looked like they mounted on the rear wheel axle and tube that runs down to the rear wheel with a "j" or "u" bolt but that hardware was missing.

Found this Schwinn American at a junk shop in Rolla Missouri on my road trip back from picking up the Huffman Bluegrass, basically complete except the wheels paid 30 bucks for it. Sorry for the crappy photos I'll post more better ones(Arkansas speak) in a few days! Still need to determine a year...
I know nothing about this bike has a cool frame but the brazing/weld has broken where the two small top tubes meet the seat post tube so they drilled a hole and ran a bolt to hold them together!

Who else out there pick up all the vintage tools you can find (or maybe already have?) to work on the vintage bike? I bought this 3/8" in lb. torque wrench about a year ago at an auto swap meet. I sell at the swap meet and the vendor next to me had it on his table and no one was looking at it...
I bought this scooter at an auto swap meet this weekend (Petit Jean Mountain), the guy I bought it from said he threw it together with some spare parts he had laying around. I bought it because of the bars with the intent of installing them on my hybrid Klunker/BMX 26" repop CWC Roadmaster bike...
I have never seen anything like this! It's missing the steering mechanism (I think it was some sort of caster and a steering wheel with shaft that ran through the bug catcher)? The front wheels are non functional and are shaped like that to give it a comic book (Kartoons) look? It was made by...
20$ yard sale find today, seat, headbadge and chain are missing. It has painted rims with pin stripes, I'll post more pictures and details when I get home. The chrome chain guard is pretty cool.
