Well, there are no markings anywhere on the seat or the leather saddle. I was told it came off of a Pope bicycle.

They actually work quite well. They're no different than any other center pull designed brake. These are cool, because they are removable. I am looking for the piece (actually holds the pad) with the long stem that slides into the braking mechanism. Does anyone have one, or know where to...

I have a set of those as well, but I am unable to use them... I am missing one long stem caliper with the pad... do you have one to sell?

Get blue tape, and mask the areas where you want to pin striping. Or you can just buy some pinstriping at Auto Zone.

I thought I had seen it before! Nice job! I think the prewar cobalt blue is the nicest color of any prewar Schwinns. It's a deep purple/blue. Killer bike!
