In all my years of attending it seems to be a smorgasbord of pedal power. It’s open to the public as well, I’ve had people come looking for a cheap rider for their kid and I’ve seen some nice high end collectible bikes sell as well. I have not been to any of the big shows such as Ann Arbor etc...
Spent some time cleaning the garage this evening. I realized I’m going to have to bring the trailer. If you are looking for some nice stingrays and weird stuff I’ll have a decent selection
Putting this DX up for bid here. I can get more pics if needed and I’ll try to answer any questions. It’s in as found condition, have not tried to clean anything because I think that’s part of the fun of getting a new(old) bike and I don’t want to take that away from its new owner.
I have this Sears Screamer 1 up for DOND. I believe it’s a 69 or 70. I’m mostly a stingray guy so I don’t know a lot about these. If you have questions or want more pictures I’ll try to help as much as I can. Thanks for looking.
Reminds me of a custom wheel I made a few years ago for a project I never finished. Sold the wheels to a cool cat in KC who used em on a Kustom bike he built.
I’ve got this chrome metal squirrel. Maybe you could use it as a fender ornament? I’m not sure what it is supposed to be or where I got it but I don’t think I’ll ever get around to using it. The stud is bent a bit and threads kinda boogered up but I’m sure it could be repaired.
I can’t remember the exact weight but I know it was around 200 lbs. probably mostly batteries. It was fun to build and show, not so fun to ride. Especially uphill.
Found this old Delta Hurricane while digging through my stuff looking for other parts. The box is pretty worn out but have all pieces. The parts envelope is torn and parts were not in there. I’m assuming the hardware from inside the box is correct but this is outside of my era of interest so...
I currently can’t recall missing any bikes I’ve sold, but I’m getting ready to release some early stingrays back into the fold next month to make some room. Hopefully I don’t regret it later.
Hunt-Wilde flying saucer I believe is why the package said. I’m sure I still have the package in one of my drawers. As soon as I find it I’ll post a pic.
1966 stingray deluxe 2 speed. Bought from original owner who rode it for about a month after purchase until the master link was lost and the hung the bike in the garage until shortly before I was able to purchase it a couple years ago.
