Thank you-pretty much what I was thinking.. It came from a barn-literally just south of Milwaukee on the Lake Michigan lake front..

Yeah-
I know the Schwinn seat is wrong-I’m more interested in knowing whether the wheels, cranks, bars, stem, fork are incorrect..

So-I just picked this up today —and trying to do some research on it..I feel that some parts may not be original on the bike to include the wheels, bars, chain guard-but I don’t know well enough.. here’s some pictures if I can get some more experts opinion on what I’ve got here..
It does have...
Here she is folks with new tires and tubes, serviced hubs, a few spokes replaced and an overall cleanup.. I need to get some replacement grips and get the siren operational-and she will be done. Looking forward to more mild winter weather for a ride.

Hello all-
I bought this great looking, although amateur painted (long ago) Cyclone 80 a few months back and want to ride it before weather gets crappy for us here in Wisconsin. Here’s some pictures as I’m looking for info on the year and manufacturer. I’m considering a restoration on this-but...
I’m just testing the waters with this custom Merrick road bicycle. I purchased it from the original owner and I’m interested in possibly upgrading to a newer Trek I have my eyes on. This bike is beautiful, optioned with all Campagnolo components from the full wheelset, derailleurs, cranks...
I’m putting a feeler out there for my fairly nice old 1971 Raleigh International. There is plenty of paint wear, the bike would be perfect for a full restoration or keep it as a rider. Chrome also is not perfect with some scratches and light corrosion in places.. Great new tires, otherwise the...
Are we sure the company wasn’t a sub-brand of the prison system somewhere?? That guy looks like a bad mofo [i.e, inmate] in his ID picture!!

Candle holders.. self defense weapon at your local watering hole.. “art” on your shelf? Toys for your kids? Shifter handle? Custom suppressor for a rifle?

Thanks—I dig the comfort modifications on yours for sure. I was surprised to find this bike for a number of reasons(separate of the price-)-mainly though is the frame size is not “huge” like many older road bikes always seem to be. I’m 5-10”, and this bike fits me perfectly. I need now to just...
First ride.. 1972 Raleigh International.. from scrap heap (yes-scrap find) this great rider with some CL-find Campagnolo NR wheels of proper vintage with an odometer!

Located!!!! Thanks that’s a prior CL purchase the seller came through with a great pair of wheels that’ll work perfect!

Yeah-it’s not pretty-it’s been neglected-but everything works well, the Brooks Pro seat is getting treated to make it softer as I think the bike was outside and poorly stored for a long time. I saw al the Campy parts and new it was worth the effort. Thanks for the tip on the rim type-I’m not so...
I picked up this bike from a scrap heap for $30... unfortunately it lost its original wheels somewhere along its path. I’m needing 27” wheels, preferably that would match the original parts group. Somehow some mismatched junk wheels ended up on this poor neglected old bike.
If you can help-I’m...
Guys and ladies-I picked this up as the only swap meet item of interest at the Jefferson Swap Meet today.. I am not an expert and need info on brand and the age of bike it belongs with to see if it gets mounted on a current ride or put up for adoption.. thank you in advance...
I've seen this bike in person.. if you have any questions-please ask. I passed on it at the $350 asking price. Owner/seller was a super decent guy however and no-I’m not him .. The “original” seat is under that massive gel pad. I’m not an expert here-but the leather was intact-but delicate. The...
That rail bike is awesome.. I am sure it’d be a wrestling match to get it off the tracks when you heard the steam whistle behind you!!

I wouldn't feel bad.. in today's dealings--there's no excuses not to send a text, email, make a phone call or otherwise. I'll openly bash people if they half ass communications after I give them my money..
Communication is usually quite good up until you send money--once they have your...
