Ok, so I know the rim/tire dilemma for 28" wheels has been going on for some time, but for my new rider...1919 Black Beauty, I've decided on the european Westwood rims, which are 40x635 (or true 28 x 1 1/2), which I can find black tires for in the US, but not cream/white tires (with a nice...

Here she is...what I believe to be a 27-28 Hawthorne Flyer, with the Trailblazer badge in all original paint plus old touch up.
It's not only in fantastic condition, but she's also READY TO RIDE!!! How often do you find an old Motorbike that takes you months to get on the road just because...
I have these chrome rims that are 26" x 1 3/8", so they would work for middleweight bikes as well has "late" Motorbikes, in that 1930-1933 transition period when Motorbikes were changing from 28" tires to 26". (I have a 1932 Hawthorne that only takes the same size).
The tires are...
In perfect working order, never used, with 2 keys! Goes great with the downtube lock holder, probably made in the 30s, judging by the picture of the bike on the box.... $30 shipped
These spokes & nipples are sealed, new in the box from the teens/20s & have never been opened. I have opened another box I bought & a lot of the "nickel finish" has worn off with age, but they still look great! These are size 12 1/8 & will fit a true 28" x 1 1/2 rim (635mm), but will not fit a...

This is a great horn that you hand crank & it "clicks" almost like a klaxon, but WAY louder! Would easily mount on handlebar or downtube with a clamp, L bracket on back, or plumbers tape. $35 PM me for details.
