Or they are not a collector and they don't know how to sell the bike w/o the additional crap (risk) that goes along w/selling the bike (ebay cost, shipping, disassembly, proving it orginal, highest bidder).
Interested in selling to somebody in New England, not shipping, so I hold, or a local bike shop can ship at owner expense. Need to start a new thread any ways, its a FF serial number and 1970 Xmas present.
The town back in 1971'sh required all bikes to have license plates. Speaking of driving around to find things. I found two of my stolen cars driving around a certain neighborhoods back in the 80's. Both cars if I remember were legally parked.
The asking price as stated above is $1400 OBO. You will have to tell how you want your bike shipped w/ insurance (not familiar with shipping bikes but figure $125 - negotiate based on OBO) Concerned with degree of bike disassembly for box. Paypal for payment. Forum sticky above discusses...
Boy a lot of disbelievers. Did we really land on the moon?
Cloudy day pictures. First, this bike needs a total disassembly and frame-up/rubber restoration at $X dollars and is directly from the 70's. I need to look take a picture of the serial number (see owners manual #). Second this bike...

I've got some PM's, and I hear ya, but it pouring out (MA) and don't want to take pictures under the lights if I can help it. Waited 50 years, I can wait 6, 8, 24 hours.
Quick story why this bike is still around (survivor). My father who spent a lot of time in the cellar (alcohol) tried to...

Need to post more pictures before any sale but wanted to post now (slice in seat need to show (boys playing with knifes probably)).
I'm bring back this old thread because I still have the bike in the picture above and would like to sell. I do see Krates for sale but not sure what this unrestored bike is worth. I'd like to keep this public and ask what its worth, if that makes sense, however, in the end end I'd like to...
Thanks for your inputs, and yes I saw ebay but wanted to get CABE input first. I guess I'll keep an eye on the market until push comes to shove. Thanks all.
Those [dam] girls in those big 10 speeds with those big wheels used to beat me every-time in the early 70's, however, at 10 and 11 years old, that muscle bike could carry up to 30 newspapers in the front and rear baskets, including those big Sunday's. Give me a snow plow and I could plow snow...
