    Monark Type 2 springer fork

Just remembered something about the disc rockers i bought for mine. They were half as thick as the rockers that came on my type 2. Didn't seem like an issue, until i was putting them on. The brass bushings i received with the disc rockers were made for the thickness of the non disc rockers. My...

    Monark Type 2 springer fork

This is a type 2. I originally bought it for a motorized bike i was building. For a bike you are just cruising at 25mph, its fine. Well, even at 25 or under it can be a bit scary when hitting a bump or pothole while cornering.

    Help id'ing a frame please

Thanks for the replies. No tag on bottom bracket, no holes or signs of holes even.

Old victor pedal end cap removal

Thanks for the reply. I got the cap off. Put the pedal in the vice, gave my thin, but stout flathead two good cracks with the hammer and it popped right off. Its definitely not a thin flimsy cap, the screwdriver barely put a mark on it.

Vintage Whizzer tank- cap gasket options

I've done a little research, but can't seem to find much info. I made a new gasket out of rubberized cork gasket material, not working so good for me. Is there something more proper you guys recommend? Retailer with a quality gasket, or new cap? Many thank! Matt

    My motorized middle weight schwinn

I bought this 61 schwinn off my local craigslist for practically nothing. Nothing to special, but i really liked the frame. My intention from the start was to motorized it. Obviously it had the wrong chaingaurd, headbadge. I was pretty sure the pedals and bars were wrong as well. Wheels were...

    Jesse James Bike --Motorized

Thats pretty nice! I'm into the Chinese 2 stoke engines, cheap thrills for sure! The more i got into the local motorized bike scene, the more i learned about getting power out of these cheap motors. Lots of cheap upgrades that help performance, plenty of gimicky junk that doesn't really perform...

    Vintage Whizzer tank threads

Some good information here guys. I was able to find out a couple of days ago that i needed 1/8 npt for the threads in the tank. Initially I was going about it completely wrong. I measured the opening and got roughly 5/16, so i was kinda confused. Haha! I have a repro sediment bowl set up that i...

    Vintage Whizzer tank threads

Can any of you Whizzer guys tell me what thread my old embossed Whizzer tank is? Im not sure if there is a petcock that fits? Or if im going to use the sediment bowl, maybe just a fitting with line to a filter and inline shutoff? Anyone know the thread size on these tanks? Thanks Matt
