I had seen these tools a ton of times in the 1939 catalog, but had never seen one pop up in real life. I wondered it they were out there. Recently I came across these two (two different purchases). They exist!
Any one else have or seen any of these tools shown in the catalog?
I don't typically post as found shots before it gets cleaned up, but it will probably be awhile until I get to this one and this section has been pretty slow lately...
I pieced it back together after receiving it in shipping (got here without an issue despite the box being beat up and taped...
I first saw this light on a postwar Schwinn Continental (owned by Mark Mattei). It was commented that it was a rare light kit. I had been looking off and on for a while and never saw one pop up until I saw a NOS one pop up recently. After the purchase I started doing some research and noticed on...
I don't know anything about this place, but was looking up something and google sent me here. https://www.txclsx.com/

Hard to beat a $10 bike in decent condition. Looks like it will clean up really well. Decals are there but dirty. Looks like it is missing the suicide shifter.
Don't know anything about it. Came across it looking at other bikes. Looks like something you guys like...and a decent price.

Looking around... I stick to lightweights but this caught my eye. I see a lot of panthers here and there on here but feel like I haven't seen this two tone color setup before. In niiiiiceee condition too.

Just looking around... I don't know anything about CTs but it looked pretty cool. Hand painted signage must be old, I searched for it and nothing comes up.

This one came out of the Denver area. The condition looked so nice that I figured I would bring it home. A woman had purchased it from the original owner (I think) and I assume wanted that vintage looking bike to pedal around town on but I think it ended up being more complicated to get it going...
I made a post recently on a 1950 World that was super nice condition. I was able to come across another one a little younger but just a nice. I generally don’t try and go after two of the same type models so close together in years, but the condition and the story noted below really pushed me to...
Looking for this type saddle. They started around 1953 and ran til about 1957 (found on some lightweight models: Traveler and Varsity). The material is like a cloth/vinyl that didn't age well over time. Usually the saddles are split on the top along that seam. Horsehair underneath. Schwinn or...
If there was one New World color to go after it would probably be this one (for me...). From what I know this color was not offered for long and I rarely ever see it pop up on New Worlds. These lighter colors also typically do not age well, but this one is in great condition. It may look white...
As stated in a previous post, I almost never see the World models pop up. I was able to buy the bike from a fellow CABE’er and am fortunate to be the next caretaker of this bike. You don’t really come across them like this: all original, first year production example, hard to find model and in...
Every now and then I pickup a ladies lightweight if it makes sense. This one did. It had a few things going for it: 1) the paint was amazing; 2) the decals pretty nice; 3) you hardly see these Worlds pop up and with this decal package; 4) I don’t think I have ever come across a World in this...
I have some wartime blackout parts that I want to clean up. I usually go with an OA bath, but I don't know if that does anything to the blackout finish.
Thoughts?
Hey All - Looking for some blackout parts for an early 40s schwinn lightweight. Parts list: skip tooth chain ring, bars, ND coaster 36 hole. They don't have to be in great shape as the bike they are going on is not in great shape. Send me a PM if you may have something.
Reference images below.
I just picked this NW up because of the wartime connection and have yet to have one in this time period with black out parts. Serial number is J07596, which I think is 1943 but have not looked too hard into that yet. I am hoping to start collecting some parts (I like to have all parts ready for...
I picked this up just to learn more about it. It has the riveted on raised lettering on the back like other persons-majestic saddles during 1915-1940? I have one of the track saddles (stamped with date of 1941) and the lettering on the back (just like this) is very similar if not the same (edit...
I was looking at a bike 10-15 minutes directly West of Rockford. Open to pick only and drop off at a bike shop or if someone could even help pack that would be helpful. In not hurry to have it shipped but it would need to be picked up soon. Thanks for looking
"can't get the bolts to budge..."

I have quite a few of the Schwinn poster brochures. Most of them have established years but I am struggling to date one that rarely pops up and has no date in the text and no obvious things I am seeing to help date it. That said, I don't know much about the balloon tire bikes so hopefully you...
Pulled from a '56 corvette. Overall condition is great. I don't see a dent on it. It has a light haze of film on it that will clean off easily. There is decal the previous owner put on there but will come off (not original to the horn). The chrome looks like you could get it up to a mirror...
Does anyone know where you can get something similar to these schwinn racing grips?

Anyone know anything about a Phillips Celtonia. I am going to guess it is an early 50s judging by the brake levers, saddle and pedals.
The only thing I found online was here.
Bike is part of a larger lot of bikes (good condition complete bikes). Those bikes also need to be picked up and would be yours to flip, part out or keep.
I can't find this catalog in any of the typical online sources. It is also the only images of this one I have found. I am not great at dating the bikes in the images below so maybe someone else can place it.
