Mine has blackout pedals. They looked like they were blued. They need a little work. So I just threw on another pair until I could get them fixed. The grips are OD green but they are a civilian style. No headbadge. My serial # begins with a W.

My rims were so rusty I had to paint them. I got some tires off eBay . I will have to look and see what they are. It also has blackout Elgin hubs on it.

I have the same bike . Mine is a 42 also.

It is amazing how my early 42 has a different look to the drop out welds and how certain things are finished.

I just put a price on it because I had to for the ad obo. I wasn’t looking to make much money if someone needed it for a project. I covered the price because I pick parts for a guy and I wanted to send him a picture without pealing the sticker off. He is a pain to deal with.

Anyone need or want this saddle. What would be a fair price for it? I will pick it up if a need for it. .

Check with Krakota for a forged fork. He cut down a girls fork for mine. He does great work

I received a Huffman head badge from a fellow military buff. Could someone give me the measurements for the proper g519 badge. This one appears to have been soldered on. I am making a tribute Huffman out of a 41.

Back of the fork has 121 on it.

Went to an antique store today and found this bell. Well actually it was attached to this tricycle. Asked him if he would sell just the bell. $20 bucks later it came off. Thank goodness for a Swiss Army knife. I got out to my car and realized it was black on the bottom. Super bonus!!

I saw a post on Facebook for a guy that duplicates g519 grips. I sent him a message. We got to talking and I told him to make me a couple of pairs. Now I don’t have originals but I have seen several. He does not do PayPal ,you have to send him a check. A little scary but after our conversations...

Any idea what these are? I was picking a junk store and he had these in his display case way in the back under a pile of of glass door knobs. I am a 30s and 40s bike guy . I couldn’t beat the price so I grabbed them.

I think they are all sold. I couldn’t find a listing. Here is the one I bought. Plus a picture of the other listing with multiple forks in the original packaging.

Found this a a local antique store. Is this thing worth $150? it’s got a few desirable parts , drop stand , deco stem pretty decent triple drops. Any thoughts on this? Thanks Cabers

Trying to get some parts together for a couple of builds. Which guard has has the bracket in the right place for a 42 g519. The two white ones have a very slightly difference in bracket placement. Also could one of you guys take a measurement on the back fender for me. I need it from the upper...

Also just like my 42966 bike, no extra welds on it. This frame is in really nice shape. Very light J3 stamp. I have found some OD paint in the BB .

Hey all. Found another one . Saved it from being a klunker. I can find no evidence of this ever being green. Were they ever painted navy gray from the factory? I see red primer and then gray and then a couple of layers of maroon.

I have some cleaning up to do on the drop outs. I actually just split a piece of 1/2 inch tubing and shortened up the originals(where the chain adjusters went) . To about 5/8 in length. And welded the half piece right over them on the front and back. It is a smidge longer than my original g519...

The picture is not very clear . They sure look like the real thing. The civilian ones looks quite different. This is a 41 Westfield .

Looking at the bike physically I would say the rear drop outs are the clearest tell. The g519 is pretty distinctive. Have him send a picture of them.
