I saw a post on Facebook for a guy that duplicates g519 grips. I sent him a message. We got to talking and I told him to make me a couple of pairs. Now I don’t have originals but I have seen several. He does not do PayPal ,you have to send him a check. A little scary but after our conversations...

This bike just about got me killed.. by my wife. We went to Butler swap meet and on the sort of way home ,we picked this girls Hawthorne up. I drove about 40 miles of bad county road out of my way in a blizzard. The roads weren’t plowed. She was yelling and telling me that I was going to get us...

A local bike shop manager sent me these pictures. He knows I like old bikes. They look pretty original. Cleaned up and new tires I think they would be pretty nice. He is asking $300 for the pair. Any thoughts. Thanks Sam
I have a 42 lightweight with OD plastic grips. I want to take one off to work on the stem. I thought I would post in this section , as they are similar to g519 grips. What are your thoughts on how to remove them without damage? Thanks Sam
I am cleaning and greasing my girls 42 Columbia lightweight. What do you think the finish was on the spokes? They are mostly rusty but near the hubs they look either blued or black.
Looking for a couple of parts for my G519 project . Wartime Persons seat or seat frame condition not an issue. , Morrow 10-36 rear hub. Also a Bendix model K hub for another project, condition not an Issue. Also looking for correct g519 chain adjuster screws.
My daughter asked me if they made a girls ww2 bike . I told her they did and she asked me if we could build one (Tribute) over the winter. Sounds like a fun project for us to build together. I was wondering what details are girl specific? I have a 42 g519 to model it after. I am starting out...
Picked these up today . Bought them at a local online auction. Pretty rough condition but the boys is pretty interesting. This was the first time I picked up some projects and I was a little disappointed when I saw the overall condition. No head badges . I think they must have aftermarket rims ...

Found these at a friend of mine’s gun shop. They either say regal or royal . Wood and leather. I should have got a better pic . But I was drooling over an M-1. Any ideas what they would be from.
I have several Morrow hubs ,but the last one I picked up has the stamping across the hub. All my others the stamping is around . It is rusty and the stamping is very light. Is it early or later hub? The inner parts are stamped P3 which I know is 1946.
Picked up this hub to do a G519 wheel. It is too nice to sandblast to paint . I think it is NOS 11 -36 with some shelf wear. Will polish up nice . Looking to trade for the same hub maybe complete, that is not as nice as this .10 or 11 gauge will work. Show me what you have.
