Sweet ride (and nice garage too).
I guess those are before-and-after pics? Cleaned up nice! I wonder why they had the handlebar stem turned backwards? Maybe to accomodate a smaller kid? Looked weird.

Somebody got hosed!!
This bike was already Identified by users here, who are in-the-know, as a replica/reproduction despite it being advertised as a "1955." Somebody on ebay paid $2 GRAND for it...
I was thinking the same thing and although I'd like to own a genuine vintage bike, maybe I can be happy with a similar feel for a lot less money. So, I made an offer.
:)
Thank you @Freqman1
I just spent some time Googling pictures of "Monark Super Deluxe" and nothing I've seen looks like this -- which tells me, it's a poor attempt.
From your experience, what are some of the most obvious tip-offs of this bike's UNoriginality that you observed?

Here's a few more pics. Any direct info or links to where I can educate myself are appreciated. I have zero knowledge and experience with this bike -- I just think it's really super-cool looking and looks like it would be fun to ride. Thanks mods for the thread, much appreciated.
Really? Well, I'll tell you my motivation concerning posting this in an existing, open-questions "Monarch" thread -- my intent was not to spam the forum.
From my experience, most discussion sites like this, encourage uses to find a closely-related, existing thread to post a new new question...
What's this Monark and what is it worth?
It's purported to be a Super Deluxe, unknown year, just 1950's. Is this a reproduction or a restoration? Any help?
Thanks!

I can see what you're referring to but I'm not familiar with a clown bike, I've never seen one? I looked on youtube but only found videos with the very small bikes that clowns ride.
As you likely know, my mini-bike is no classic, it's a chinese Doodlebug with a Harbor Freight engine -- but it...
Looking to trade a mint condition, hardly ridden, all original Schwinn Sting-Ray Spoiler for any balloon tire bike of equal value that strikes my fancy. The Spoiler has the ape hangers on it now but I have the original handlebars. I am the original owner of this out-of-the-box-condition...
This belong to anyone here? I've tried to contact the seller via eBay a few times to get additional pics and info but got no response. If it's the real deal, I'm interested -- and I'm local. But something seems screwy here....I just don't know what it is?
Swinn(sic) bicycle 1955 Black...
I owned/rode a Schwinn 3-speed for quite a while and have experience with several others.
They are undoubtedly well built bicycles but in my opinion, they're NO fun to ride.
