I've been informed by seller that "I told you I would add the tracking but not until you delete that thread", Well there you have it. No need for me to speak to his character.... actions (or lack thereof) speak louder than words.
Sorry there fella, the thread stands
I don't think I'm being unreasonable as I waited 10 days to even ask for an update. And I'm certainly not trying to speak to anyones character (yet). Quite frankly no other communication aside from updating a tracking number once an items ships is ever needed.
I realize some people don't...
Good to hear Marty. I'm sure the part will come and post not intended to become a pissing match with seller just thought people should be aware... Especially given all the chatter surrounding seller recently.
It's just common courtesy to update a buyer with info/tracking especially after...
I thought I'd share my current experience. Purchased an item from @Underground Bicycle Shop. An item I've been hunting for a couple of years and glad to finally find it. Item was paid for on 3/18 and seller said he would ship promptly.

@Wolfmac I stand corrected... re: rounded tank. I look at everything from a Pre '33 lens 😉
@blakekennedy curious serial number and era for Schwinn in general. I have bikes with a 6 digit serial on the registry up to 1934. I have a date confirmed '35 entry with letter and 5 digit serial
Big thanks to all the buyers and sellers in attendance yesterday... There was a plethora of high quality bikes, parts and people on display! A true testament to the strength of the classic bike hobby in the southeast! I think it's safe to say this event is picking up steam.

What else are people bringing? I've got a couple really cool Soap Box Derby cars. 80's vintage but still amazing the amount of work that went into them... Ask a 10 year old kid these days to follow a set of build parameters for a race ready machine 🤣🤣 good Luck!
Great Americana pieces for...

I've seen a couple of different sprockets but then again Wards bought from a number of manufacturers. That said that style seems to be the most common. I like the sprocket thats on it and I'd probably leave it as is but I get trying to make it whole... we all do it. The wheels are the real...

I'm leaning towards Snyder as well. Doesn't explain the sprocket but could have certainly been changed many years ago... along with fork for the matter!
Not Schwinn built although the Hawthorne flyers in '23/24ish were built by AS&Co. @SKPC The fork is different than the earlier Michigan City Excelsior forks.... Not a typical Hawthorne Flyer snowflake sprocket.

1970 Schwinn Stingray/ Apple Krate frame. Frame was repainted many years ago and shows some signs of paint loss. I was told it was originally an Apple Krate but can't bee 100% sure. What you see is what you get... Frame headset cups, BB cups, seat post collar, badge and kickstand
Most paint...
Diameter is 2 1/4". All parts of mechanism are present and I have an extra cog. Just can't seem to get it to move smoothly. Probably a simple fix especially if you have misc parts laying around
