If it was an Item I was interested in I would have checked it out and either bought or passed on before I ever shared it here. I was born at night, but not last night.
Why is that. It's out there for the world to see. We have a topic E Bay & Craigslist items. If it is legit I could potentially be giving the seller greater exposure.
I still look around a little. Does this look like a good price? Out of my wheel house, never had a Krate.

In the " collector car " market there are more and more investors, aka, flippers than ever before. I have seen people buy a car and really not know much about it, other than they believe it will sell for a pretty good short term profit. Some will buy a car and have it shipped to the next auction...
Again, my response was to the limiters or governors being set to not allow the vehicle to exceed the safe speed limit. When I buy a new car if it has a limiter to 120 mph I don't really care. I wouldn't want one limited to 70 mph.
It's not a matter of need, it's want. Do you really believe automakers, motorcycle companies should only produce vehicles that don't exceed the speed limit? How long do you think any would last if they were constantly driven at WOT?
I am no longer buying and selling. If I was I would be on this one.

Finally sold this one today....... Out of bikes now except my Phantom rider. It's been a lot of fun, however, my motivation and interest just isn't there any longer. I have some parts laying around that I will gather up for some D or ND. A ton of great people here over the years. Thanks to everyone.
A friendly cop story. In 2004 My wife and I were held up at gunpoint in a Hotel parking lot. He took my wallet and wife's purse. His license plate was stolen from a car rental lot. While answering question from the cop he told me I could most likely find our stuff across the street in Burger...

Electric horn/light combo with OE box --- Working speedometer w/driver, cable, stem mount -- two Gulata #375 reflectors with clips ----Stem and "S" clamp - 72 used spokes/ends from a 26" MW - Front and Rear Delta Hubba Hubba lights, very nice.
Like everyone else said. Unless you are willing to ship and the price is what you would pay for one, not what you hope someone else would pay for one, the odds aren't with you. I'm in a large metro area ( 5 mill or so ) and I have bikes that can sit on CL for six months or longer before they sell.
