I started disassembling these Persons pedals that were pulled off of a ‘42 Schwinn DX when I ran into this head scratcher. The bearing cone looks to be press fit to the end of the pedal axel. No tabbed washer, no locknut...no good! Are these serviceable? Thanks for any help you can provide. -Andy

So I have what seems to be a late B6 model based on the tank decals. Last year before it became the streamliner, or so I thought. Serial #J98333 comes up as May 1953. Hence my dilemma...1. That date would make it a streamliner but it’s not labeled as such. Tank was changed out? Maybe so...but...
Recently acquired 1953 B6. Not uncommon I know, except maybe for the rear SA 3 speed with expander brake and front SA fore-brake. Both are laced to knurled S2’s. Is this an uncommon set up? A factory/dealer upgrade option? Thanks for any knowledge you have to share.
