Bought a pair of Huffy muscle bikes. The Meteor is the one that i was after, but they were being sold together. I will need to rebuild the wheels as there are several broke spokes on the rear.
Also this Radio Shack Archer handlebar AM band radio.
To prevent loss of parts, or theft of them, if they were loose in the package perhaps. Assembled together with soldered ends certainly stops that from happening.
Found this while trolling ebay. I thought it looked neat, but then realized it's a custom.

Surprisingly, it's fairly close to me.
I had a Huffy Wheeler Dealer as my first "real" bike. Black banana seat, red and chrome. Loved that bike. We would build a ramp in the street and come tearing downhill around the corner, hit it and get air. Magical. We'd also go mudding off road in the local Metro-park on any deer trail we could...
If you like the wet-look of rust, coat the bike with Penitrol. It's linseed oil, turpentine and varnish premixed together. A painting aid. It gives rust a deep brown color and protects from further deterioration (to a degree).

Not seen since 1988.
May be one of a kind.
PRICELESS
And can be yours for $1200.00! (Priceless at bargain prices?)
Found this on Craigslist, close enough to home. Would any of you bite on this?

First let me say that I am new to this hobby so I'm not fully versed in values etc.. I think if you have it all original and correct, cleaned up but not restored (keep the original factory paint), NOS tires if the ones on the bike are roached (keep originals on otherwise), you would be well over...
Has anyone out there paint matched old Murray cruiser colors with modern automotive paints? I'm working on a 1960s ladies Murray Sonic Flite in silver with "electric" blue metallic tank, rack, and chain guard.
I had a Wheeler Dealer when I was a kid. If my bike had graphic held in the frame I cannot recall. It was a great bike!
Interested in selling? I would be interested in buying.
