Years ago I found a trashed bike with 32 on it, and recognized the numbers as from this Tamiya Radio Controlled Mini Cooper which I've owned several of over the years.
My '35 Roadmaster DBR has rejoined my herd as my Klunker. My '43 Roadmaster Delivery proved to be unstable on a rutted trail and is currently being redone as a strand-rat.
'35 Roadmaster DBR Klunker is back. Had a bit of a scare on the Roadmaster Klunk-Delivery a few days ago when I got into a rut I didn't see because of the basket. I barely kept it upright and decided a 20" front wheel isn't good for me on a Klunker. That's my opinion anyway. This feels better to me.
Out for a nice ride on my '37 Roadmaster DBR after replacing Wile-E with an airplane. The bike fell over in the bike room and Wile-E lost his head and his ears broke off too, found the head but not the ears. 😢
Wanted single or pair Duro brand Studded black wall 20x2.125.
Would also consider Deli, or similar if tread and width was compatible.
Like tread shown but black wall.
Prefer single but would consider pair.
Let me know $ with shipping to Santa Cruz, CA. 95062.
Drop stand arrived, and I install it and the clip. Then removed the side stand and headed out for a nice long ride on my now pretty much finished '41 Shepard Torpedo.
Got out for a nice cruise on My '41 Shepard Torpedo after swapping out the seat and post. Pics taken post ride since I forgot to take a camera with me. Nearly done with it until the drop stand gets here.
Drilled out the broken screws and installed a badge, then created my own custom basket bracket. The old Roadmaster Klunk-Delivery is pretty much finished for now, and I'm pretty happy with it. Once I get the correct basket stay then I might even get it stripped and painted.
Out for a nice windy cruise on my Roadmaster Klunk-Delivery after creating my own temporary basket bracket. I say temporary since I'm hoping to get one from Jaf-co in the not too distant future, my order is in.

Headed out for a between rains cruise on my '43 Roadmaster Klunk-Truck after a few parts got swapped. Changed crank (Varsity to Mongoose CRMO), sprocket, pedals, chain, and stand (Alloy side to Wald axle mount).

Out for about a 5 mile ride on my '41 Shepard Torpedo before the rains hit. It's been a while since I've had a single speed bike, a bit more of a workout.
A little parts swapping on my '41 Shepard Torpedo. Gearing swapped from 26-10 to 24-11, tire swap to black wall Duro diamond tread, pedal swap to Torrington 8s, and taller seat post. Also added a rear reflector while I was there.
Out for a decent ride on a "concept" I've been considering for awhile now, a Klunk-truck. Overall not bad, but not exactly right either. I'll have to play around with adjustments a bit more, before my next test ride.
Update: Shifting and ride position tweaks done and the second quick ride was...
Out for a short cruise on a '41 CWC made Shepard Torpedo I'm planning on purchasing from a fellow caber. Tall gears(26-10), a short seat post, and badly bent pedals made for a tough ride. All things that can be worked on after purchase.
Out for a longer ride today on my '43 Roadmaster Delivery-Rat after swapping out the seat post which allowed for a bit taller seat. Once I figure out the funky shifter I'll have all 3 gears again, only has 1st and 2nd now.
Spent 2 1/2 hours changing over to 1" pitch most of that time was trying out cranks and cursing them out. I wanted a crusty one but all 3 crusty cranks I had turned out to be bent or have stripped threads.
Picked up this '54 AMF girls parts bike and took it out for a short ride, it has a cracked frame but was still ridable. After that I headed out for a nice ride on my '43 Roadmaster delivery-rat. Last ride before the delivery-rat gets converted to 1" pitch.
Swapped out my Klunker parts onto my '35 Roadmaster frame. Electra 3 spd wheel set on Deli 26x2.125 knobbies (measure 2.25 actual), Mongoose CRMO crank, modern platform pedals, 20 tooth front sprocket, 11 tooth Ichi-bike rear sprocket, Diamond 1" pitch chain, Cheapo chrome fork, Evil Ed dual...
Got this Roadmaster DBR frame this morning and figured out it's a '35. Swapped all the parts from my '47 and out for a nice ride I went. Rides nice, and the gearing is perfect for a Klunker.

Headed out for a nice about 7 mile cruise on my crusty Roadmaster delivery after addressing a couple problems (brake strap, sticky shifter, and bent bars). 62 degrees, mostly sunny, not much of a breeze, and it rode very well. And look at that brake strap, perfect match. Bars are modern 28"...
5 hours later my Roadmaster Delivery is alive. Started out by heating and removing the stuck stem and headset. Next I straightened the fork and put it back on. Then I tore down my '57 Schwinn Cycle Truck for parts and transferred many to this rat. After all that I headed out into the dark for a...
