    Motobecane Gran Jubile

That's right. "Jubile," not "Jubilee." This is the older model. Vitus 172 frame and fork. Been upgraded to Suntour derailleurs. Wheels are custom made Weinman, brakes upgraded, even the gear ratios are set up for Pittsburgh's hills. So far I've only been able to putter around in the...

I've had this '89 GT Talera for nearly 30 years.

Bought it used for my ex-wife but she never liked it. Tried to give it away several times, it keeps finding its way home. Now, it's my trusty steed. Got it set up with Conti TourRides and some other accessories. Not very fast but comfortable and everything works like new. This pic was taken...

My first bike looked something like this:

Except there was a name on the tank, and I think it was "Roadmaster." I hated the damned thing. It weighed more than I did and all the other kids, including my younger brother, had kool bike that were in the style of (but were not actually) Schwinn Stingrays. Even my little sister's bike was...

My first post here, and pics of a 1972 Super Sport I picked up over the weekend..

It's in pretty good nick, but I had it up on the workstand yesterday and the rear hub is noisy. Sounds like the bearings are running dry. Also, when I put 70 PSI in the tires, the front did this: The tires are Kenda K35s. I'm' going to repaint the chain stays and seat stays, touch up the rest...
