I wish I could find another one of these, it's the 1995 anniversary edition, I bought it new. They're Taiwanese and the quality was good, it rolls, rides and brakes very well, with the 250W hub and doing mostly peddling I get 25 miles easy. Also very quiet, with the nice Schwinn cantilever look.

Is there any way of removing the cover and adding foam without destroying them? I have a couple the covers are good and somewhere over the years, the foam was removed or just blew away in dust ( the vinyl S colored type). Thanks.

What are the common reproduction parts you find on 50's-60's schwinns? I see a lot of China wheels on bikes I've recently looked at.

I picked up this little 24" American, trying to decide if I want to rat rod/bmx modify it, or just restore it? Seems pretty original except for the China rim on the rear.
