The rims may be original to this bike.
They are stamped "Dunlop Special lightweight 27 1/4 Made in England Pat. 266486"
The description of these rims match the 1939 Schwinn Lightweight Bicycle Catalog.
No response from buyer is odd but money gets handled through ebay now since they charge the taxes.
So if there's money in account your account for the bike and shipping cost.

My USMC unrestored Persons saddle.
Green frame.
Black painted bottom pan.
Black leather.
Green seat tabs.

I can barely make out the Persons manufacturing stamp on both frame rails under the original paint.
Saddle stamp is very faint but can be seen.
It's the Marine Corp version in forest green as opposed to Army olive drab paint. I'm told that it is an early 1944 based on the serial number and hub code. There is a Columbia print ad posted online that shows this version without the Delta light for the Marines or Chinese forces. I can only...

Washed the rims a bit to find they're Clement Albione. Seems they're Era correct although probably not original to the bike.
Front stamped...rear has remnant of oval label.

Looks like Sugino is stamped on bottom bracket cup so assembly was replaced.
Guy I bought it from said he last rode it in the 80s so the bottom bracket and cranks were replaced prior to that.
Couldn't help myself and went to grab this off FB marketplace. Just thought it was cool enough to justify the asking price.
Should be a fair winter project.

Did you file detailed police report with description of trailer and contents when everything was stolen?
No insurance on trailer?
Usually need police report for a claim.
If you have documentation and a filed report, the authorities should be made aware.
Of course nowadays stealing is legal...
I like counterfeits almost as much as I like reissued parts.
The Reissue Phantom wrecked the original market.
Mongoose just reissued motomags so now a bunch of frames show up with repops on sales sites.
Wouldn't want to get scammed so really have to see it up close before I'm willing to buy...
