I've had this American Flyer for some time now and I have not been able to find out much about on my own. Been thinking about selling it, but I have no idea what the ballpark price should I list it for. It is a 28-inch frame, right now it has 28-inch Raleigh wheels, serial number is DET 183...

Was picking some parts today and came across this one just sitting there next to a fence. Serial Number from what I can tell, V80976. Guy that owns it is open to selling it for about 100 plus cost of shipping. it is located just outside St. Louis MO.
Got this Western Flyer that I am thinking of selling, but I can't find anything about it. Any help narrowing the year and possible worth is much appreciated. It is in excellent condition, tires hold air.

Numbers are pretty faded; I stenciled them dozen times and I was only able to make out 5 numbers, it looks like there might be a 6th one there between 6 and 8 but I can't really make it out, if I had to guess it I would say it is a 9. I tried to add a pic, however my camera is not good enough to...
Finally got a good enough stencil of the serial # it looks like H62689, I think that would make it a 53, I have an incomplete 61 Hornet that I can use for parts to make this one ridable or just sell it as is, haven't decided yet.
Got this while back and finally getting around to it. Originally blue, someone threw primer all over it. Can't make out the serial number, I think that it might start with a B. Any help in narrowing the model and year much appreciated. Not sure about restoring and parting with it.
Got a Schwinn Heavy Duti that I am thinking of selling or trading. Not sure on the price (willing to entertain offers), but for trade I am looking for a set of 28-inch coaster wheels. Bike is heavy (42 lbs) so shipping will be around 100 dollars or so. Located in Southern Illinois (62225) if...
Tires have cracks as you can see from the pictures. They cleaned up pretty nice, but personally I would not ride them, probably better used on display bike. Hate to throw them away. Free, just pay shipping.
Wheels are free, just pay shipping or pick up in Belleville IL. I don't know anything about them, maybe someone needs them, if not, in few weeks they'll go into recycling.

Just too expensive to ship outside the lower 48, however if you are willing to pay the shipping I am willing to mail it.
About to make it roadworthy, (not going to mess with the paint, just going to clean it real good), but before I start I have a few questions as I cant find pictures of this bike to use as a reference anywhere.
1. Did it come with a dynamo or that is a later addition?
2. Two headlights? or did...
I agree, so where is some food for thought. from what I read and half remember, Shelby changed the letter every 100,000 bikes, A, B, C, D, so for example if H was 1st half of 1948 people could at least guestimate the year. or if someone knows the production rate then it would be easy to date...
Got this Hiawatha the other day, can anyone help me identify it. Serial # is C89183 which makes me thing CWC, but it has Shelby crank, but that might not be an original. Thoughts.
Picked up this Rollfast while back. Almost done tinkering with it, need to mount a chain, reupholster (or get a new one) seat and kick stand. Chain guard is not original, nor are the wheels, however they are period correct (I do have the original rear wheel). I've been having a hard time...
I am thinking of letting this one go, working on 3 bicycles right now and I am not making any progress on this one. Don't know very much about Western Flyer Super, so I am open to offers. Honestly don't know what would be a fair price on this. Look at the pictures, for detail. Crank is bent...
