This little deluxe ray was calling out for help and a new home so I bought it home with me. I’m just wanting to know the year? Serial number is: JD58983. Its a nice little bike to ride down to the corner market on a hot day for a coke and snickers bar. Maybe the girls will notice as well. Thanks.
For all you antique bicycle experts…..just wondering what year this Dayton Davis Yale is? My very untrained guess is 1919-1921. The serial number is 690281. Thank you kindly.
Saw this little Huffy gem at a garage sale and just couldn’t walk away from it for only $40 dollars. Unfortunately I do not have children to give it to to ride, nor is there any kids in the neighborhood. I like the Huffy brand (since I’m from Dayton), but we true Buckeyes are not fond of the...
Might be my wild imagination, or onset of dementia, but I thought at one time I saw on here someone looking for bicycle chainring replica tee shirts?? I know I’m old and senile but swear I saw the ad Awhile back. Anywho, i was in a antique store today near Dayton, Ohio and saw these DAYTON...
Saw this 1920 Harley Davidson on Facebook Marketplace from East Moline, Illinois for $5,500 For those that may be interested. A little rough, but its 102 years old. It’ll clean up nice.
Saw this nice old Campus Green Schwinn Hollywood at an Estate Sale today in Kettering, Ohio. There was a $95 price tag on it, and I know he would have taken less. Nice bike! I wish the wife would have taken more and better pitchers, sorry.
I stumbled across this tricycle that looks old. Seat is gone and wood handlebar is most likely not original. Any of you experts care to provide any information so I know what it is…..year
, type, make, value etc… thanks!
Saw this violet Schwinn Stingray in a antique/consignment shop today in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Owner has a $400 dollar price tag on it. Looks pretty original but I’m not a “Schwinn Guy.” Is it a violet 1966?
Did you’s see this Military bike for sale on Craigslist (St. Petersburg area)? 1940’s Dayton Huffman WWII Army bicycle with gobs of olive green military paint on it??
Greetings, I’m wanting to find a set of Davis Sewing Machine Ideal pedals for my 1921 Dayton Davis Sewing Machine Roadster. The rubber pedal blocks are probably roached by now after 100 years. I’ll pay good money. Also could use a 4 edge drop stand for the same bike. Thanks!
Don’t know if this has already been discussed on here. I’m not looking to raise a stink or bust anyone’s chops. Just curious about it, and left there with more questions and curiosity. Maybe just trying to figure it out!? On the sign there it states that the two bikes there are a “1930’s Dayton”...
I bought a Dayton Davis Roadster 1917-1922 and it came with Goodyear tires on it which I know are not the originals. Research shows me that the bike originally came with Vitalic DeLuxe white tires, Goodrich Safety Tread tires, or Kokomo Everlaster white tires. Do they even make these anymore...
Just got this bike, and hopefully the pictures downloaded. The best I can tell it looks to me like a 1885-1888 Columbia Light Roadster? I have never seen the tires/rims like this before on any kind of bike. The tires are bolted to the rim. About every 8 or 9 inches there is a screw thru the tire...
Does anybody know, especially those that have been there to Bicycle Heaven in Pittsburgh. Do they sell old, antique bikes From the 1900-1920 time period?? Are the prices reasonable, large selection etc...?? Thanks.
My uncle left me this as part of his will, said its a $10,000 dollar bike. I think he’s on the low end and its worth a lot more then that lol. I will sacrifice and sell it for only $5,000 dollars. Hahaha, just joking ladies and gents. I do need help identifying it though. I cant find any serial...
Spent 5 hours at the Carillon Historical Park in Dayton, Ohio today. Many awesome bikes there including some Van Cleves, Davis’s, Spaulding, and the millionth Huffman which is gold plated. Great, great history of bikes. I’m not the best photographer but enjoy the pictures.
