The photos show the scooter. It has 2 wooden pedals with ratchets, one on each side of the rear wheel. They seem to work as treadles. I would guess the scooter dates to the 1950s. It seems to be complete including mudguards on the front and rear wheels. Does anyone know the maker? Where...
I have a small bicycle museum https://www.huronbicyclemusum.com - but the website is not good (I did it myself) and as fate would have it pictures of the velocipedes do not appear (pics of 3 are attached). My e-mail is on the web site. I can send you pics of the bronze pedals - but how do I...
Hello Carolina Rambler
I have 4 velocipedes - and had new riding wheels made for them by an old order Mennonite wheelwright near where I live in Canada - similar to your experience. I also had some pedals cast in bronze - I think I have a pair left - they are very heavy and need finishing.

Hello Chris
I am looking for a Rambler model 26 head badge - is yours still available? Alas, I don't have a model #31 to trade. I have a complete model #26 - except for the wrap round head badge.

That is a Bantam Alpha with the double top tube - a bit larger than the Bantam, and a man's machine whereas the Bantam is often viewed as a ladies machine. It also has type 1 handlebars with that right-angle turn in them. Nice leather clamshell tool bag, too.
Thank you DNC1. I have been a member of VCC for many years and have an ad in the Newsletter for the said parts. Thank you for suggesting I contact Bob D. I will very soon. Best Glen
This was an obscure British bicycle in the 1890s, the last of the "front drivers". You pedaled a small front wheel with an epicyclic gear (sun and 4 planets) inside it. I am looking for a rear wheel (or the hub of a Crypto Bantam rear wheel) and a pair of type 2 Bantam handlebars.
