I don't know. That was the way I got it approximately 25 years ago on a "restored" Silver King Racer ("camelback"). It does not seem to be a reproduction, but I am not close to being an expert on these early parts. Thus my question to the Cabe community.
This seat was on an as found "restored " 1930's Siver King "camelback" racer I acquired in the 80's in Chicago. It is not the correct seat for that bike, which I still have, but I would appreciate some specific info on it's era and application. It has "Chicago" stamped on the side flaps.
