Who are best seat recoverers? I have a Whizzer Sportsman and was thinking about having the seat recovered. The original is intact but is cracking. It has the Whizzer logo embossed and I'd like to recreate that.
Thanks

Hello all! I have an opportunity to buy this Sportsman from a friend. I would appreciate any and all input. Components you recognize, issues, values. Thanks in advance.

Admittedly, I'm a Whizzer guy but not a bike guy. Saw this at the swap meet this morning and I knew it was the real deal, but what. Help a brother out.

Looking for a nice/NOS repop Schwinn springer fork from one of the the anniversary models. I think they were sold by themselves in addition to being offered on the bikes. Anyone have an extra laying around? I came across a NOS 1952 Schwinn DX with the modifications to be a Whizzer Special frame...
I read once that the Chinese 2 strokes so popular these days, were based on a Russian engine that had the carburetor in the front. I suppose this is a Ukranian version.

I have done a lot of business with this dealer including purchasing one of these. If you add a spacer you can get from Memory Lane, these can be used on a Pacemaker. NOS in primer, repro.

I bought the Worksman bike for a Whizzer build but the engine wouldn't fit. I couldn't put a Chinese engine an American made bike but I came across the "Bike Machine" on Ebay, NOS, and I figured a vintage Japanese engine wouldn't be too bad. After all, in was made by Kidde Industries. Here are a...
This may be an unusual question but here goes. On vintage Whizzers the clutch truneon arm passes through a hole in the crankcase and is fastened inside the points compartment.
Early Whizzer parts diagrams shows no bushing in this hole where later ones show a bushing with a part number.
Here's...
I would appreciate opinions about these springers, quality and value. I'm considering one for my 1950 Whizzer/DX build.

I luckily came across a Schwinn DX frame made May 5, 1950. It appears to be unused and never assembled. These would have been used for the 1951 Whizzer Specials. I have included 3 pics. The bare frame and in the middle of mock-up. Previously I built a Pacemaker on a 1952 NOS frame. Not all the...
I have a "Greg Dahlmier of Southern California" built Whizzer engine I am putting up got sale. It has only been run on Greg's test bench. It is a H standard engine that was then fitted with 7/8" valves. $700 plus shipping.

I acquired this brochure pertaining to the failed 1993 Whizzer. They had ambitious plans including producing parts for vintage Whizzers. I read they had engine issues. Have you ever seen one? I have one of their fibreglass tanks on my Pacemaker.
If you own a New Model Whizzer (1999-2008) and can take the side cover off and the cam stays in the crankcase, it's possible the cam bearing has rotated and worn the journal, possibly out of round. Also, if you have a roller bearing for the crankshaft, it is now considered superior for a needle...
This forum was very helpful when I needed to identify what would match 1952 Whizzer Pacemaker Maroon, (Dupli Color Deep Canyon Red (Ford)).
Now I need to match some Shelby Supreme colors, blue and red mostly. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not a "bike guy", yet. I'm a Whizzer guy. I saw the frame, fork, chain guard, and fenders on Ebay at what I thought was a fair price so I bought it. I added the other components on the way to adding a Whizzer engine. Any input on the bike will be appreciated.

This is on Ebay. What can anyone tell me about it. I'm a Whizzer guy, not a bike guy. Thanks.

I was lucky enough to find and buy a NOS 1952 Whizzer Pacemaker frame that I am currently building, (I have a 700 engine). Since Whizzer sales started slowing down around that time, I suspect there may be more out there. In lieu of finding one of those, I would consider a factory Schwinn WZ or...
I'm moving along with my Pacemaker build and I have a question I can't figure out. My 1952 manual shows a spring bar that apparently slides into the tube that the rear seat springs attach to. Does anyone have one they can take a pic of, maybe take some measurements. Leonard Davis mentions it in...
I bought a NOS '52 Pacemaker frame that I am building up. At this point, I don't intend to restore it as this is my first frame up build. I DO want to utilize the original maroon color of the frame combined with a creme color that I've read original Whizzers came in. I have included an "in the...
I recently picked up this NOS 1952 Pacemaker frame made by Schwinn. I have 4 engines to pick from so no problem there and I can substitute other parts as it's not going to be a restoration at this time. I intend to use Worksman wheels for example. The tough part it looks like is going to be the...
