Grew up In Placentia, this was my bike shop as a kid and teenager. I always joke that it’s where all my money went. Pretty much true. I remember it being Spencer’s Schwinn when I first moved there.

This one is too big, I’d be mad if they put that on my new bike.

At my school, a kid would have gotten his ass beat for riding a bike equipped like that.

Same here with my Kool Lemon Stingray. Got it secondhand, first thing to go was the banana seat, replaced with one off a Varsity. Moto bars, and a knobby on the front completed the look. My buddies and I would ride them in the Placentia oil fields and orange groves. Cops would chase us but they...

As many of you might know, the circle is currently closed for renovations. Might I suggest we meet in the northeast corner. It’s the most open area, so we won’t be blocking the sidewalk too much.
