So just picked up this Monark and as I look over tank no sure what to use to clean the cream colored portion. I think it’s paint maybe a decal but its very weathered . Any advice would be appreciated . Thank you

Hello ladies and gents , I’m going through my jc Higgins and have these dark marks through out the tank . I’ve use some rubbing compounds and a glaze but there still there. Not as dark but still linger . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated . Thanks as always ahead of time .

Well look what I found under pounds of paint😂 . Didn’t even know it was there . Thought the bike was red , turns out she’s burgundy . I was going to strip and paint but I think I just might dig a little and see what I find. Using scotch brite and it’s working . Open to any advice on this one. Thanks

Finally got her out for her first ride. Now to tweek things.

Gave it a bath in wood bleach and then very gentle scrubbing . Toothbrush on the delicate parts.

Really stoked on how she came out.🤙🏻

Im pretty sure this before the sale. I’ve seen the head badges for those Evan Colson rebrand. That’s why I figured it was early to mid 50.

My brand new Colson commander . Well new to me . I’m guessing early to mid 50’s .
