Hi
It’s not available anymore. I purchased it last year. Just finished full restoration and will be posting pictures soon. Will make sure to link you in when I post them.
Huffman Bill is right. I saw that bike over a year ago. I have also seen the real deal in Italy. The bike that is for sale looks to be missing lots of things and also appears someone made a poor attempt in choosing proper color to repaint do spot touching up.
I’m looking for a master link for my Baldwin Duckworth Skip Tooth Chain. The master link needs to be labeled B-D USA and is appropriate for a 1 inch pitch Skip Tooth Chain
Thanks
Reaching out to see if anyone has a Delta Winner lense they would be open to selling. Finishing off restoration on Westfield Columbia G519 and my lamp is cracked. I would even consider the entire head lamp if you have one you could part with.
Hi Everyone
I’m looking for an authentic Persons tool pouch for my Westfield Columbia G519 restoration project. No reproductions, trying to get the real deal.
Thanks
Looking for a Baldwin Duckworth Skip Tooth Chain. Any number of links is fine. Specifically looking for chain to have the following stamped on the links.
B-D and then under that USA.
Hi Everyone
I’m looking for an authentic Bevin Bell to complete my restoration. Specs for the bell:
Size: Diameter is 2.25 inches measured across the top of the skirt of bell
Distinguished Markings: Thumb lever on bell has “Made in USA” stamped into metal.
Thanks Adrian. So, I assume when you finished your restoration, and to keep to original issued G519 spec, you painted your head badge OD green and did not clean it up to show just a metal finish?
G519 Team
Can anyone confirm that all Westfield Columbia G519s had head-badge painted at factory before shipping to US military. I assume it was standard to paint head badge OD green but wanted to be sure.
Thanks
Thank you guys. I guess it’s a matter of preference when restoring if you want to keep the crash tabs on. Do you have them on your restored G519? Also, looking at historical pictures on websites ( Liberator etc.) it hard to tell if the GI’s bikes had crash tabs.
Hi everyone,
Im trying to determine if all Westfield Columbia G519s left factory and had crash tabs on seats? Also, we’re the Tabs painted OD green from factory or were they unpainted?
Thanks Bill. Mine is painted OD on inside and I thought maybe somebody did bad paint job trying to restore and shot the inside of the light. Was going to try and strip it. If that was how they were originally issued then I will not mess with it.
Hi Bob. I can send a pic but need to confirm spec size dimensions and other details. I think manufacturer was Gulco but need to confirm. Hope someone can point me in right direction.
Hi Everyone
I’m looking for two components to complete my Westfield Columbia G519 restoration. Need an original chain and also rear fender reflector. Please let me know if you have one and willing to sell.
Thanks
Hi Johan
Wondering if you know what is the original US army issued adjustable wrench for the G519. The one in your picture is not the same as the one that questmaster website shows. On their site the wrench is US army marked and manufactured by the FL Manufacturing Company from Newark N.J. Also...
Wow. Think I saw you in video Columbia Bicycles the Launch. Amazing bicycle collection. The G519 in that video looked immaculate. Any chance you have archives and details that can be shared on the production of the G 519s.
That is great. I’m trying to locate a frame builder from the Westfield Columbia factory that worked in 70s. I have heard he is an avid collector and may have access or has in his possession of archive files that may have some very specific details. If I succeed in finding him will certainly...
Amazing that you know and record all these details. It would cool to add a column for where these bikes now are located. My bicycle that I just purchased is going to Bergerwerke Bicycles who specializes in restoration of G519s. Will share some pictures as it gets professionally restored.
Thanks for sharing that information Serge. If I can be of help in alerting you to any parts or accessories (given the time zones differences) I would be happy to do. I just missed an original brass pump and original clamps.
Trying to track back some history on my bike but it appears like your...
