Matt and I have finally started to clean up the 1940 Monark Rocket.
I stripped the paint off the rims, the original paint and pinstripes were there, so I was pretty excited. But now cleaning the fenders, I see the paint on the rims is pretty oxidized (brown) and the rims look like the red is...

The auction ended on this Delta torpedo light earlier today. Can someone tell me why it would sell for $351?
I say this about every bike Matt and I get back on the road, but this 1949 JC Higgins maybe the smoothest riding bike I have ever ridden! We picked it up last summer from the original owners daughter, cleaned and greased, and finally got it out for a ride. The ad doesn’t lie!
Please explain how this happens. This is the second bike Matt and I have brought home with the tip of the fender rolled under, thankful he is a metalwork extraordinaire!
Thanks for the replies. I figured the grips were not og, so then I wasnt sure about the bars. I agree with you Sean, the white with green is cool, looks like it would clean up pretty good.
This Goodrich is at a local sale. Matt and are thinking about picking it up. I wanted to get the expert opinions on the handlebars being original or not.
rode our customized Elvis Blue Suede 1954 Rollfast to the Blue Water River Walk on the southside of Port Huron this morning. This is new, pretty cool.

Rode to the beach with a stop at the Veterans Cemetery, giving thanks for this blessed Independence Day in the great USA. As my favorite veteran hubby Matt says, every holiday is veterans day.

They are practically giving this one away. I was sent an offer for $25. It is rough, but a fun project bike.
I noticed this one on FB. Too bad it only has half the tank. They have a few bikes they are selling lately, it misn’t be worth a ride to see their collection.
Here's the serial number, C67404 What year does that make it? 1939? I took it for a quick spin around the block. The seat may not be correct, but it is comfortable!
We got it. For a price cheaper than we would have paid! I can't wait to get that child seat off of it. They put new tires on it a few weeks ago. I asked if they still had the originals, but they were falling apart so they trashed them.

Matt and I are going a to this local auction this weekend. They have been advertising this bike. Does anyone know what the hubcap thingys are on front tire...
I’ve been searching, there is not much on Trail Mate bicycles from Sarasota FL. , and zilch on the 2 piece design. I was hoping to get more info from the Cabers.
Anyone seen these bikes before? A friend of mine gave Matt and me these two matching 20" bikes. She told us they were foldable bikes. When I was loading them up, they didn't look foldable, but wasn't sure how they worked. They are held together by a lock knob screw..cool little bikes. There...
42 degrees and a peek of sunshine in Michigan, perfect time to get in the first ride of 2023! Matt and I finished putting “Blue Suede” together just before Christmas and I was eager to get out for the inaugural ride! A few adjustments on the seat, etc. This one brings a smile to our face. Happy...
