Looking to find a tank, as close to what’s pictured below. I’ve got the bike, but sadly/understandably, the seller didn’t want to part with either the tank, or the bomber.

Being very new to the hobby of vintage bikes, what’s the general consensus about cleaning-up a bike to “maintained, rideable, and original condition” as opposed to ”full-blown, looks like it just rolled-out the bike shop door” condition?

Hoping to find out more about this saddle. The imprint on the leather is virtually indistinguishable. The cross piece on the frame has a hint of OD paint on it. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently acquired what appears to be a 1944-dated Huffman Western Flyer. The forks are stamped 114. The frame is stamped H 210563. With the addition of some parts and paint, I’m thinking it could pass muster as a tribute bike. What do you guys think?
