What is everyone using for a buffing wheel on a desk grinder?

I received the bat holder for my Coppertone, I am wondering if I am missing something because I am not able to easily remove the baseball from the ring. It won’t fit thru the loop, should they of send me a bracket or larger ring?

What paint cleaners and polish is everyone using?

Installed a rear slik on the Coppertone and aired up both stingray’s for a quick ride around the block.. I hope to take them apart and do a clean up soon as time permits thanks @Hoagie57 for the slik!

I noticed that this bike has the generator bolted to the sissy bar, is that correct or does it go on the frame?

I thought it was weird too. Does it affect the rear drop outs? When I picked it up it all worked but I wonder it it’s affecting anything? I finally installed the derailleur without it and noticed that the cassette might be loose 😞

So I have laced the nexus 3 hub on the rear wheel and it’s working nice! I really want to add a thumb shifter so it looks more period correct, what would I have to purchase to accomplish the shifter swap?
